Lou-Lou will calm down but for now she has to be..........runnin to the door, greetin someone, eatin time, and knocks everything or everybody over to get there!!
I've seen more Great Danes live past the expected age range than not. Since most GDs die from bloat than any other cause, it's important to keep them calm for awhile before & after eating. Many die early as a result of being kept outside. GDs that live indoors will live a long & happy life.
