I loved RB as a kid. My first job was at A & W Root Beer. I had to make the RB in 60 gal vats. By the time I left there, I couldn't even take a sip of RB.
But I thought I'd try Don's, it came yesterday (with my Infinity ∞, it was like Christmas all over again with two presents in the mailbox) and the RB is awesome. Can't wait to give some time, obviously, cause I broke right into it

I didn't say everything is bad from BWB. I just said I didn't like Applewood. U may not like the liquids I like and vice-versa. Dont take it personal bro. I like virgina,555,casablanca,hunter's blend,blast etc to name a few. I love BWB and that's y I keep on ordering from them. I also mail Don abt questions I got and he immediately replies back. I am indeed posting responsible comments. In fact you have to be responsible in respecting one's own likes and dislikes.
It's all good Shane...there has just been some irresponsible bashing going on lately & it's been getting on everyone's nerves. There is just a right & wrong way to voice one's opinion. Broad sweeping statements tend to persuade other's from trying something & then making up their own minds.
Then there is the steeping issue. It would be nice if people posting reviews would let the products age a few weeks before giving their opinion on it.
We all love BWB...not every flavor is to our personal liking...but I try not to give negative reviews on a particular flavor that may not be my favorite, because it may be someone else's favorite. I don't see this as being deceptive at all. Let everyone make up their own minds. If it's good, say so...if it's not for you, say so.
Turns out that I don't go for bacco+fruit mixes so much. While Applewood and Mellonbacco are fine liquids, I've hardly dented my samples of those two compared to the 6 others that I got with my first order.
