maxboro is good too, didnt need to steep as long as the casa IMO
Oh, AG... the wife and I have been thinking about getting a larger breed for a bit of security around the house. We have a small breed plus a cat (ewww). Also have kids and teens from 7 yrs old on up in and out all day everyday.
We've kind of been looking at either a doby or a German Shephard. Any recommendations? (I'd love a BoerBoel but I can't locate one remotely close to home).
Thanks!!
(so who actually works for BWB?)
Bullmastiff's are great hearted dogs, but you really need to be careful mixing them with a smaller breed household
great danes mix well with the smaller ones
My Great Dane (145lbs) & Yorkshire Terrier (4lbs) are good buddies!
They are such big sweeties...How old is yours?
Shadoe will be 10y/o in May & is a 3 year cancer survivor.
Thats Awesome!!
I'm leaning GSD because of their intelligence. My wife is concerned about shedding and leaning Dobbie.
I first need to find a respectable local trainer as I work 65-84 hours per week and simly don't have the time that a new pup deserves.
You could also look into the Giant Schnauzer...they are shedless & have a great temperment
To train a dog properly...you need to be very involved...otherwise, they will run you over...someone else can teach them to sit, stay, etc....but they have to bond with you...
