Likewise Whiskey :)

I'm a big fan of Austin Powers (and fashza)..lol...Mike Myers a good ol' Toronto boy like myself.

I just wanted to note:

I turned my father a 60 year smoker into a vaper.

I visited him on the weekend and he tried some BWB and he just loved it! :2cool:

Hey fcit. That's cool that you got your Dad to start vaping! I remember smokes being pretty pricey up there too. When I was in Alberta in 2004, they were about $11.00 per pack. Just curious to how much they cost now? (Cdn govenment loves their tax monies, Eh?)

One of out forum member's CWK553, Chris Kim passed away on Thursday. In this unfortunate event his family is looking to sell all of his PV related things and his Mother in law is looking into posting in the classifeds here on the forum. Please say a little prayer for him and his family in this trying time.

Hey Kevin, they are the same at $11 when I quit almost six weeks ago.

I was buying them by the carton at $79 with the taxes.

That's a $3 savings buying by the carton and I was smoking DuMaurier. I still have two and a half packs haven't had one in 47 days.

I am proud of my Dad! A 72 year old vaping...how groovy is that?!

Oh the gov't sure do love their taxes. 35% income tax; 13% sales tax. Gasoline is at $1.21 per liter. ($4.60 per gallon)

I am getting hosed...and that's why there are so many hosers up here.

Hey fcit. It is cool that your Dad is vaping! REALLY COOL that you both quit analogs (reg.cigarettes). It'll help your health, most important, and help your wallet ($$$). Our taxes, here in Connecticut, are as follows. Income is probably about 25%. We have a federal, and a state income tax. We only have a 6% sales tax, that is soon increasing. Yeah, that PST & GST up there sure take a bite! Name brand cigarettes down here, Marlboro lights, are about $8.25 USD a pack, and our gas is about $3.65 per gallon, or about .97 a liter. I'm using an Ego T (tank system). Works really well. Just like an Ego, but with a 1ml refillable "tank tip". If you're using a regular Ego, you can upgrade it by buying a tank atomizer, about $15.00, and refillable tips, about $5.00-$7.50 for 5pcs. It makes refilling less frequent, and works even better than the regular atomizer (Just FYI). I've been to Toronto 3 or 4 times-cool city! Houses in the city are super expensive-checked a few out. Also, you guys have the greatest beer. Can't get stuff like Molson Dry, Labatt Crystal, or Kokanee down here. Welcome to the crew!

hey kevin....i tackled those ego-Ts a while back and I wasn't all that impressed. At first I was really diggin it, but after about 3 or 4 days I lost all flavor. didn't matter what juice I used. didn't matter how much time i spent cleaning the atty. So I thought I maybe had a bad atty, bought another one....same thing. Great for about 3 days then no flavor.

Have you had that problem at all? if so, how did you fix it?

So very sorry to hear this, may he/she rest in peace.
On another note Don, glad to see you are getting the best of the hard night out and feeling like a human again!

Hey Phorbin. I was thinking about this for a minute, and you know, there have been a few times that the flavor has seemed to lessen while I'm using it. It doesn't seem to happen with stronger tasting flavors (ex. Hunter's, Vanilla, Maple). It has happened occasionally while I'm using Virginia, or Maxboro. Boy, I thought that it was just my tastebuds, or that the juice may have changed while steeping. I guess that I'm going to be thinking about this more if/when I detect a change in taste. Compared to my 1st two kinds of Ecigs, the Ego T has been great. The battery life, and less frequent fill ups have made it easier to get through my work day. I'm pretty sure that this is going to be my primary PV for awhile. Although I've looked into PV's like the GLV, and Phidias, and a couple of others, I keep measuring convienence, portability, and a few other things. I will, most likely, try something new, down the road. But, for right now, my Ego T works pretty well and has kept me off the analogs. Thanks for letting me know about your experiences with it. Now I know that it's not just me. (when there's an occasional sudden decrease of flavor). I wish that I could figure out why, and how I could remedy it too.

Hey Phorbin, I have noticed it on my Inferno tank atties. I have an ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry that I used to clean them. Just warm water and the vibration action seems to fix them right up. You can get them on eBay for about 20 bucks I think.

Hey Bluesun. I'm reading this and this is what I got. Just add warm water into the ultrasonic cleaner, and drop the entire atty/cone into the water? If this is correct, let me know. In the water for about how long? and then do you just let them dry out for hours, or do you do something else to speed the process. I'd give it a try to see how it works. Thanks.
