My sole reason for vaping was to quit smoking and stay that way. I started out at 36mg and could vape that all day and all night without any adverse effects...at all. It worked great. I quit on vape day 2. I win.
I am not concerned at this time at making attempts and struggle to reduce nicotine intentionally. I smoked for 40+ years and have only been an ex-smoker for a little over 4 months. To me, that is a bare pittance to the length of time I smoked.
If and when I cut down on nicotine, it will be another improvement. At present, I want to stay free of cigarettes, so I am not going to worry about how or if or when I should cut back on nicotine.
I do not vape at 36mg nicotine all the time. Some vendors do not sell 36mg, so I do 24mg and I can't say I notice anything, just like I didn't notice anything at 36mg either, except it enabled me to get off cigarettes.
If I have to do 24+ nicotine for the next ? period of time, I will remain being the winner still if that's what it takes to stay off cigarettes.
Some do it quick, some don't. I quit fast I think. Some still haven't quit completely. I feel pretty sure I quit on day 2 of vaping was because I started out at 36mg. If 36mg nicotine didn't affect me like it does some, I doubt using lesser strengths would have enabled me to quit as fast as I did.
YMMV applies to so many things in our lives. What works for you is what works for you, and it's a good thing.
I just want all of us to stay off cigarettes for the rest of our lives. Whatever it takes - we should do it.
This is my goal. Remain an ex-smoker. I'm on the downside curve of life now, and I want to get the most out of it smoke free.
I want that for you too...
