francis, all three stated above are great VV's. The ProVari has alot of cool digital features that are fun when you first get a VV. What I have found (and most others too) is after a couple of days of fooling with your new toy, you end up finding your "sweet spot".

Depending on my Brew, I bump it up a bit or down a bit. You'll taste what's right for you real quick. Most of us have digital meters, but seldom use them.

My preference is the Infinity (and the price point is much lower), but today I'm vaping my Buzz. The ∞ is almost the same diameter as the eGo. It has an adjustment thumb wheel similar to your old BIC lighter. Turn it up or down on the fly.

It's the Goldilocks principle. 3.7v was too cold, 6v was too hot. For me 4.something is JUST right.

Hope this helps.

Not to be the odd man out but...at this point the only reason I hang on to my 306's is for a fall back should I ever run out of 510's. Even at 2 ohms they just run too hot for me. And, on a related topic, how anyone can run them consistently on a non-VV unit is simply amazing to me. Then again...diversity is the spice of life, right?

FWIW as I'm late to the survey, I like and use Ikenvape 2.0 510s and joyetech standard 510 attys. For cartos I like and use ikenvape 510GoldV2.
+1 I have an ikenvape gold v2 dripstyle on my Buzz @ 4.2 with backo, testing to see how long it wil go before flavor drop or death which ever comes first, I am now starting my 4th week on 1 carto....I have swithced out twice 2 days at a time...so only 4 total days off of that 4 weeks!

Hey Whis. I'm taking a break from trying, until the weekend. With BS issues at work, my state tax not filed yet, a little boy who commands my attention from as soon as I get home, and other assorted dilemmas, I'm going to work on it sometime this weekend. Thank You again! I'll keep you informed. Gotta go get ready to brave the rain, and head to the sweatshop. See ya later.

Thanks Phorbin..I put the motorcycle back in the garage...its raining out...LOL

i'm sick of rain....its been pretty grey and dreary here for the better part of a week...except monday. Monday was in fact really really nice outside. Otherwise this weather has pretty much sucked. I could stand a little more weather like monday and a little less like today.

Thanks very much for everyone's feedback on my question on what I now know as "tube VV".

Buzz, Infinity, Pro-Vari all noted. I spent, the rest of the night, and a good amount of time here at work {shhhhhh :p} reading up on these 3 vv's. As of right now, looks like the Infinity fits the bill for its simplicity, dimensions and of course, price.

I don't have a bunch of pv's, only got 2 Ego batts, 3 510 stick batts, 3 std 510 atties, 2 LR 510 atties, 5 Boge 2.0 cartos, 2 Ego-T LR atties and 1 Ego-T std atty. Was hoping to use most of these with the VV.

Gonna do some more research .............

Of course, I'm also building up on my BwB juice inventory :)

Francis just remember the Infinity does not like low resistance atties. Its good down to about 2.8 ohms. If you want to go lower or you have alot of LR stuff go for a buzz. Both are reasonable price wise. In about a month notcigs will be putting out the buzz pro followed by the infinity pro. They will be super nice and run around 125 dollars. BTW I have a Buzz and Infinity.

I could've sworn "5CardStud"s graphic on the NotCigs forum said something like "Do not go lower than 1.8 ohms..". I use 2.4-2.6 ohm Ce2 Tanks on mine... hmmm. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
