It continues to amaze me that when people talk about Backwoods they name 3 and 4 liquids at a clip as the "best I've tasted". That is so rare from what I've seen in the e-liquid industry. From reading these forums, people usually like a liquid from Company A and a liquid from Company B, etc... but this Backwoods Brew is soooooo not like that. Folks order 3 and 4 *favorites* from BWB.

I'm going to have to try this stuff. =)

I don't think you'll be disappointed, Richie. If you like the "tobacco" flavors, as I said, I highly recommend Hunter's Blend and Casablanca. Both are like nothing I've tasted before...very distinctive; hearty without being overpowering; just the right combination of sweetness and spicy bite, the latter especially apparent in the Casablanca. The Applewood is a good smoky vape with apple undertones that don't overwhelm. Don's juices are, to me, a perfect viscosity and combination of PG/VG, and the throat hit and vapor are excellent. I can only speak to the 24mg juice as it's all I vape.

The peach is also perfect, although I can't vape fruit flavors for any extended length of time. I'm not much for coffee concoctions either, but I ordered some for my mother who kicked a 50 year analogue habit last year. She loves coffee vapes and was especially pleased with the espresso.

I have E-Joker's Blend and some Maple Tobacco on the way. The latter will get an expert's opinion. No one knows good maple like a Vermonter! :p

That is true and I have had plenty of New Hampshire maple syrup and candy and Don's Maple Tobacco is definitely maple. I'm sure you will enjoy it, so far it is my favorite.

How long do you guys let your applewood steep? In my first order I gave it 1 week and it tasted nothing like apples or wood, not anywhere like the sample I had previous tried. So I sent them back thinking something was wrong and got a 10ml in my next order to hold me off. Thing is it tastes pretty much the same, nothing like applewood!

So now Im starting to think im going crazy lol. All I want is that awesome flavor that hit my tastebuds not so long ago. I understand its a complex recipe and all but how long do you guys wait untill you find it ready?

I glad that you mentioned this, because in the year that I have been vaping, these past couple of weeks are the first time that I have heard of "aging" e-juice. I had been told that the fresher the juice, the better and that's what I do. If I'm not going to use it right away, it goes in a dark place in the fridge and if I intend to put it in my "stash", it goes in the freezer.

You don't have to deal with our FDA, up there in Quebec, but if they succeed in banning or severely regulating e-juice here in the states, I have a stash that will last me for quite a while. In that case, since I may not be using that juice for a year or more, I think that it's a good idea to keep it in the fridge or the freezer, so it will stay fresh longer.

BTW, if you want the facepalm smiley to show, use a colon before and after it, instead of the asterisk.

OMG 3 weeks? I think I;ll loose if I have to wait that long. Now i regret sending back my original 90ml. It would be about 3 weeks now if I had been patient lol. *facepalm*

i am always buying juice...so i always try my new stuff...and if it tastes off...it gets put away and forgotten for awhile...mean while i vape what is ready...works for me....:)..i just keep my juice that is steeping in a box....then when it is ready it gets moved into my rotation...:D

also when i try a new flavor and it is great...i will order more in a bigger size...so it will be ready when this one is gone...lol

Thank you Cardinal. I'm just having a little fun with Don and the BWB gang. I've been using BWB stuff since -- well, since... I think I may have been Don's first customer 1 1/2 years ago. =)

Interesting that you zeroed in on Hunter's Blend, Applewood and Casa Blanca. Along with Malty and Maple Tobacco those are some of my favs too. (well, first time I'm trying Casa Blanca but Don *did* send me a sample of something awhile ago that I *think* is similar)

The Applewood I sent you was well aged, at least 1 month old. For me Applewood becomes Applewood after 2 weeks BUT I like it on day one as well.

Don - I'm having issues with your website. When I try to order it says "select another shipping method". No matter which one I select the same error comes up. I also had an error saying "cookies are not enabled in your browser", which is incorrect, my browser is set to "accept all cookies".

Please advise!
