and can you request a certain %? Extra flavor?
I consider myself and Don buddies... and I approach these requests with caution because Don is a bit of a perfectionist.
He believes that he has optimized "flavor" for the given ratio of all the components... so requesting different flavor adjustments and PG/VG ratios can sometimes be met with some hesitation from Don... because the flavor changes when you start tweaking etc... He hates sending something out that isn't what he intended to create...I think he's more open to it when you've been a customer and you've been buying a particular juice... when you are familiar with the juice... but requesting it blindly isn't typically met with enthusiasm.
There is a company called gourmet vapor that allows you to completely manipulate flavors and ratios... they are having a 50% off sale now.
But I say this with warning because many times, people's creations taste horrible. There is a science here when you start mixing and matching.

So, when Don doesn't jump at people's elaborate requests and it doesn't seem like he's being overly supportive to his customer's machinations... just keep in mind that Don does have the best interest of his customer and his professional reputation at heart.

After vaping a 15ml of Malty on my first order I fell in love. But if you've vaped Malty you know that it leaves you wanting more. Such a mild subtle flavor but also highly addictive! I think the crisp clean smell is a big part of the addiction for me. Anyway on my next order I asked for double flavor.. Don was hesitant, he said he's packed as much flavor into Malty as he thought he could. But he was willing to try.. Well that extra flavor Malty is about a month old now. Has about half the flavor of the original version. Don was right.. by adding more flavoring he had to sacrifice VG and in turn the juice lost a lot of sweetness. I'm using it as a DIY base now.

So yea, Don knows what he's doing, I would recommend taking his advise if he tries to talk you out of adding extra flavor. Don also offered to replace the juice for me.. PLEASE if your going to make Don mess with his recipes, and if your not happy with the results, don't ask him to replace it. Cause he such a good guy that he will offer. It was my fault that he added more flavor so I would NEVER ask him to replace it. Plus it's actually really nice for DIY.

OH, trust me...I love the juices I've had from Don. I was asking about the PG/VG ratio because it works perfectly for me. I ordered espresso and honey flu the first time, and I'm expecting my 2nd delivery today- caramel cappuccino, peach, malty toffee and dulce de leche. I only asked purely out of curiosity not because I had a problem with anything. Out of the 4 suppliers I've used, his have been by far my favorites!

Thanks for the info! :)

Just so everyone know with the recent Dyacetyl thing going around on the forum, I dont use anything that has it in it so dont have any worries there.

So I'm a little late to the party but I thought about that and then promptly thought
" No, I can't see Don using that". But it's nice to know for sure.

My first shipment from BWB will be here tomorrow! I am soooo excited :D I'm too new to vaping to be a connoisseur, but feel I ordered from the RIGHT person for my first e-juice order! (thanks to all the information from YOU guys here on ECF!)

Here's the question: I have read here that some brews are better with age. I ordered Honey Flue Nut Tobacco, Malty, Malty Toffee, Applewood Tobacco, RY4, and Vanilla Bean. I will patiently put up these to age for a week or longer, but in my excitement to try Don's juice, could someone suggest which flavor would be best without the aging time?

Thanks :D
Jill

I'm doing great, thanks for asking Don! Funny, you send an order out, I order another....lol! I can't seem to get enough of the Espresso, hope it'll last me through hunting season.
Happy Hunting Buddy :)
Other order is going out this afternoon. LOL

Hey Don, what % VG to PG is your juice? If it's on your site and I just missed it, sorry! Just curious...and can you request a certain %? Extra flavor?
70/30 PG/VG . As for the difference in the VG/pG ratios and flavorings it is on a flavor basis as some are ok to change a little and others arent as Tango and Free pointed out below. The more VG a juice gets the more it changes the flavor and some of the flavors are peaked without going overboard to make them start tasting wrong.

I would say the Vanilla Bean and the RY4 should be good right away but both will still age. Give em all a try just to be able to see the difference that time makes for future reference and how long it takes for you. Im sure all will be good though.

I used to think the juices got better because they steep....and they do. But i also think there is a component of your palette adjusting to the flavor. On subsequent orders of BwB juice (just got a bunch of juices..tnks Don!) i have found they are pretty good out of the mailbox. Points I'm making are that you don't have to wait a week to vape them...and give your palette a little time to adjust.

PS..Just got Cherry Tobacco, Espresso, and Blueberry for the first time today..haven't tried them yet. :)

OH
Rcv'd my order today...The dulce de leche is awesome! Sweet, but not too, and just perfect. The malty toffee is great, too, I already had some espresso in my cart so was hard to tell what it will taste like individually, but blended really well. I get some new cartos tomorrow so waiting to try peach till then, would hate to ruin the flavor!
