Hey ya Dopeh...Whats you up to today?
Lounging, vaping, foruming(is that a word? lol), watching Winter In Wartime and waiting for my parents to come take the demonspawn for the afternoon.

How bout joo?

Hope everybody's winding down :) Yesterday I got to move heavy machinery onto a truck, then I was lucky enough to be the guy inside the truck for unloading - it was, um, hot.

Thankfully I had a Grand full of Menthol tobacco to refresh me periodically lol

Good review Phorb ~

$22 is ridiculous, but we have become accustomed to marketing Hype.

I'm not a big atty user but have tried several. I recently picked up an Alpha Ultra and some Ciscos. I've heard and finally succumb to the hype. Now for atty users maybe these are acually better, I don't know. I tried three different 306's (IKV, Cisco and BWB) and of the 3 I found the most connsisent to be the BWB.
THIS IS NOT A FANBOY PLUG.... I will never promote something falsely because I like the business. I just found for me the BWB gave me a good hit more often....... In 11 months (today) of vaping 98% of it has been with carts, so I may not have the experience to find the nuances, so YMMV.

The BWB variety are Bauway brand. Didn't get a chance to try them yet, they've been oos. I have tried the IKV and Cisco, both are great if you have a good one, but like you said consistency is an issue. They will likely be more streamlined as the mfg process matures - this is a relatively new industry.

IMO any 306 is better than a 510 lol

Bauway 306's are made by ECIS, they are good consistent atty's. Whiskey just let me know when you all are ready. Hype is Hype, and there is alot of it. I think that causes more issues than it should but it is the American way.

Don juice is the bomb, and I have run it through about every atty and carto made, while some mute the flavor a little it is consistently good in all of them, which says alot. I think the only flavor I have seen suffer in cartos is applewood seems to be a little less apple'y in my DC's. YMMV though as my tastebuds have been doing the "we are gonna change daily" tango.

Other than that good god I am hot as heck down here and can't breathe when I am outside. The humidity is redonkulous.

I have no plans to buy that atty, especially not until the smoke clears and we find out the straight story.

but...

IF (and I really mean IF) the hype about that atty is true, then you'd actually be foolish NOT to buy one. I heard that the maker has only had ONE atty die in 8 months. Think about how much you spend on atties in 8 months. If you spend more than $22 dollars, and like I said IF the hype is real, then you'd realize a big savings by buying it.

I've been puffing on the same eastmall 306 for a few weeks and it recently started dying out, upped it to 5 volts and its going like a champ again. I have gotten a couple DOA though luckily the supplier is one thats local and got replacements. Sucks paying 7 bux a pop for something and having it not work, .... thats just what we vapers gotta deal with for the time being.

I'm not saying that it's not the bomb but I feel that more often than not a new product is rev'd up to a point that it cannot possibly live up to the expectations. I use A2's all day everyday now and won't go back to Chinese atty's. Most do not like to rebuild them though.

I have 3 scuba Gen3 genisis atty's and a LV incoming too, I can tell you that in my A2 the apple in the applewood is like biting into a crisp apple. On my Hybrid Mini I sometimes think I can taste Don's mood the day he made the juice.

That being said, there are alot of really good products out there for non-modder types that don't want to fuss with what I use. I just think that there are some that are being sold as the best thing since sliced bread that fall short.

I'm gonna get off this soapbox BEFORE I get into trouble.

Lol, oh yeah, I read it all. That's just stuff I don't know about and probably never will. I just posted in case somebody else who felt as lost as me was here. That way they wouldn't feel stupid, they could just point and laugh at me zippity-doo-dah-ing with my eGos and feel ok too. Continue, i'm learning lots! And i'm not being sarcastic at all. I like being the dummy in a room. Struggling to keep up is a lot more fun than knowing everything already.
