I agree with you Dopeh on purchasing physical gold (if you already haven't) but out of curiosity what's your position on silver?

Personally I think it's a little volatile, but it won't hurt to have some too.
I like silver at 32-33 for the long haul. You're right it's very volatile, too much so for most people. I would say to watch gold and play the ratios if you have the nerve. What I mean by that is to trade gold for silver and vice versa, thereby increasing your total ounces held.

I gotta say, gold/silver ratios at 40+/1 is kinda crazy, and can correct to 16/1 which is the historical benchmark - that would put silver over $100 if gold doesn't tank, which brings me back to my previous post hehe

I know stagnation, selloffs, and investor jitters don't help the markets any, but right now the best thing is to get liquid, so you can scoop up bargains when the time is right - anyone remember, for example, Bank of America for $3? 6 months later, $18.

OK so now it's back down to $7ish but up til March of this year you coulda got out at $15..

Just like to add that there's nothing wrong with paper gold, and mining stock as long as it's the big guys, and for existing projects, not speculative! Unless you like giving money to a BSer standing next to an empty hole.

Yep, artificial downward pressure on the stock price, for what essentially amounts to "suing Peter to pay Paul" if you consider past events, ie bailouts.. Pot, meet kettle.

Taxpayers have a vested interest in both, and transferring money from one to the other does what? IMO it's just one of the things they do to get the prices down so they can scoop 'em up cheap.

Squabbling over 10b is laughable, all things considered. Crying about 10b of a 28b loss and they got how much bailout money? 85b? I don't remember, but this is all a dog and pony show.

5 bottles I thought were going to wind up lost by the usps managed to get here today. I have gotten to the point where I can wait til next month to try them. I did smell them, for what that's worth. The 555e and pina colada both smelled.... Nutty?

Smell can be deceiving... the 555e, definitely nutty... but the Pina, not at all. Maybe you smelled the 555e first and got that smell in your nose?

Yeah, that happened to me...smelled Dulce first and it was so overpoweringly sweet smelling that everything else smelled the same. Thats why they have the coffee beans at cologne/perfume/fragrance stores to clear your sinuses and nose-parts of lingering smells (or something scientific like that).

I remember getting my order that contained the 555 exotic...it did overtake the smell in the bag too..

Yeah... I didn't order any 555 but the Dulce was definitely the boss in the bag it came in, I walk into my room and it smells like Dulce when I'm not even vaping (which is thoroughly pleasant).
