Im a newb, will someone please tell me what I would expect with something like this? At the moment I use a long,fat battery. I know nothing about volts, mah, ohms, etc!!!!
Regulated 5volt boxmod with extras!
(1) 5v regulated boxmod, black 3xaaa-style box, built by me, used only once, uses 14500 batteries(not included).
(5) Pink/Purple clearomizers. I believe these are the 2.6ohm, and they're multi-wick, not exactly sure which Rev. I'll test them later today when I have the time, and edit in the actual resistance. Don't have those cheap little plastic syringe tips, but I do have a new ce2 mouthpiece that will be included.
This boxmod works great, built very well, excellent soldering. I just can't seem to find a sweet spot with 5volts. This thing puts off a ridiculous amount of vaper at around 2.8ohms, I didn't expect that and dang-near choked on that cloud, haha.

Laura - I would be leary of a one time home built mod. Some juices don't like 5 volts also. I have two of these 3.7 volt and one of the 5 volts and love them. Thank you, maybe help me compare volts? I really dont know what that means, hotter? I dont know how many volts my battery is. Its a long, fat riva-type.
Your Ego style is considered a 3.7 volt. Get a tester from Radio Shack and test it. I bet it comes in around 3.4 volts and that little bit of difference is noticed in taste. 5 volts will bring out more flavor in a lot of juices. Casablanca is a must try at 5v. I enjoy my 5v, but my sweet spot is a true 3.7 with a smoketech 1.5 ohm dual coil mega carto. Have some Ejocker in one and some QuickNic RY4 in the other right now. Life is good.

Have you tried the 1.25 ohm smoktech dual coils yet? I"m loving them with a true 3.7. So far only one juice didn't agree with this combo, AVE strawberry cheesecake which was fine on an old basic 510 but tasted like melted ricotta at this heat. lol
I'm patient. I know he works his .... off to get that nectar to us!

I use my rivas with 1.5 stainless, long DCC's. is this optimal? I know im lovin it!
