Ok, I need to order TODAY!! Help decide... Found riva 1100 for $15. Found t-Rex 1100 for $20. I've read that riva stays closer than Trex to 3.7 v. Possibly riva better made. Thoughts?
Texas, that description has me really thinking it's time to upgrade. Especially the part about putting it down because you're satisfied. I vape constantly. The big issue would have to be changing flavors, since it's so easy to have multiple flavors going with egos...i guess it would be a building-up process. Research time again...

If it makes you feel any better, I still drip on ego batts in spite of my growing mod collection. Sometimes the convenience of the ego batt is hard to beat, especially if you're one of those folks (like me) who like to have multiple flavors going at once. The one drawback I could ever dream up for bottle fed mods is that you either need to have a few of them for your multiple flavors, or you end up vaping a flavor until you're sick of it. The pro-vari obviously is a much better unit for dripping but at those prices you won't keep four or five of them laying around like you can with the egos.
point of all that is this: don't be ashamed if you still use ego's. nothing wrong with that IMHO.
for those of you looking for further signs of an impending apocalypse, the Dow plunged over 400 points in the first 20 minutes or so of trading today. I'm starting to think investing in guns might be a better long term survival strategy.
EDIT: make that 450 points in about half an hour. Sinking like a stone is a phrase that comes to mind

the interest rate on mattreses is pretty low, but only slightly lower than a 10 year T-bill. Mattress it is!!!
Thats the way I look at it. If you had 100,000 invested in most things nowadays it would only be like 1% or $1000 a year in interest of which you would have to pay taxes on, so My mattress is only putting out a hair less and I know im safe LOL
I'm over my ego-shame, but I definitely am interested in something that's kicka-- enough to satisfy me enough to put it down. I will miss the multi flavor convenience when I upgrade though. Currently, I have 4 egos in front of me, awesome variety at my fingertips: bluebacko, espresso, waffle, and 555e. Btw, is it just my taste buds, or does bluebacko taste a LOT like applewood?
You're probably tasting the Backo base thats similar. I taste a little bit of the base in a few flavors, but fortunately I like it... so its all good : )

I have no idea. Since I have 30+ 510 attys, obviously I want that threading. I hate the hassle of dripping, so my first thought is a bottom feeder. I'm not completely dissatisfied with standard ego battery life (650mah I think), but longer would be nice. I have 6 batteries and 2 chargers, so it's rarely an issue. From what I've read, vv sounds pretty cool, but i'm not sure if it's a necessity. And i'm completely open to suggestions from the bwb crew. Ecf is great, but I feel like I know y'all and can trust your suggestions more than random unknown ppl in other sections of the forum that, frankly, I don't visit any more.
