Alot of high end mod owners have several (I can imagine for a few reasons)

1. Backups- Most of these vendors and manufacturers have good customer service/warranties/repairs if you mail them back in...but that leave you without your (insert awesome PV) unless you have a second.

2. Aesthetics- Especially with wooden mods and all the options for exotic woods, I can see the desire to have several just because they are all unique and all finely crafted.

3. Function/options- Some companies offer 3.7v/5v/VV/etc...having several allows you to expand the voltages and setups you can utilize.

4. Did I mention alot of high end/wooden mods look awesome?

Yeah, what whiskey said, collectors. Plus if they came out with a new version of whatever PV I had bought I would probably consider buying one if it had Feature X and Feature Y.

One example that I got a laugh out of: The 24k plated gold Provari @ 300 bucks.

People in the thread were talking about getting this a 2nd/3rd/4th Provari and putting it in a glass case. Lol.

Yeahs everything you are saying is exactly what happened when I bought my first wood mod when it first came out, then theydid have the Feature X so I got another. Yes there are many reasons some people decide to buy more than one of a mod. A lot of times is its a good product and thats it, and you need to have a backup for problems that may occur with one.

Band I've been using VV for almost 8 months. The previous 4 months I didn't think there was a need for VV. I saw the Provari before it came out and thought it was the coolest with the LCD.

While waiting I remembered Don had said he was using a Buzz. I went and checked them out. I've had an Infiniti and Buzz, and now a Buzz Pro and an ∞ Pro beta. As cool as the Provari and Darwin are, (I've played with both....very nice) in the end 4.6v + 2.5Ω is always 8.46w. They all have regulated voltage, the voltage and vapor production doesn't drop as the the battery drains as eGo's and mechanical devices do.

The BP has wheel to adjust voltage and after a week of metering you realize that you find your sweet spot by bumping the wheel and it doesn't really matter what the voltage is set at. It handles LR and the price point is much lower than the others.

Just one Rat's opinion......... but worth checking out

Morning y'all! Thanks again for all the info yesterday. I've started scouring the reo sub-forum for more info. Today@work we have the final weigh-in for a Biggest Loser contest we signed up for over the summer. I've dropped around 10 lbs and I think there's a really good chance i'm going to win the jackpot- $400! I haven't told my wife yet, but my plan is to spend half of it on my new mod, batteries, and charger. :)
