I agree - they are like a 2nd home. We didn't use it at all this year with the move. As you know, they are lots of work to prepare for the summer and then you are preparing again for the winter.

Plus the cost of putting them In & out of the water.
Did you transport here via trailor??

No ---it comes out and goes in on a travel lift -we store on a cradle at the Marina.

That would be nice, not to trailer, my husband thinks we will use the boat other places but we always end up at Lake Erie.

Trailoring is nice because you can move it around, but the bigger ones are better off at a marina...

Good luck to everyone in the hurricane's path. Be safe and get to higher ground. Hurricanes are no fun. I went through a bunch, but that one (the name we do not speak of in NOLA) in 2005 was terrifying.
