Heya all ~ Well daughter's show was amazing, not just a proud papa, the department head gave a standing ovation which is a rarity. After the show the director called a meeting (she was in on it) and DD came into the green room where 30 of here friends and a big cake awaited her to a huge surprise. Of course dad was a BIG hit... and mom too

Congrats to your Daughter Wharf!!! She's getting a standing ovation from the Crew TOO! HOORAH!!

I hear that Whis- I've been outside all day doing all kinds of nasty stuff. I think they call it yard work or sum chit.

I just wanted to pop in quick and say hey to everyone. Gotta go finish grilling the equivalent of about 3 chickens. Which means many more cold adult beverages.

Can't wait for that alarm clock to go off tomorrow morning and drag my ars off to work. LOL

Oh... btw. Kudos to our little Red headed sweet heart. Big hugs to you darlin.
I promise next time I won't let Bill open the car door and let you fall out like that again.

So I'm a sweat heart now, vaps. Too cold to be sweating here today.

Yard work, yuk! But after all the work is done, I just have to say, I like to sit on my porch and envy how nice the yard looks. Plus for some reason, I love the smell of fresh cut grass.

And after I get done with my yard, (past grass cutting seasons here in CT, of course), and covered in sweat, dirt, and dust, I then sit on my front porch too, and suck down a couple of cold (and usually Canadian) beers. Yeah....That's it!

Busy as all day. Hunted around the neighbors yards for the Yorkie, who was, of course, sitting on the front door step waiting for me to get back, and let her in. And hurry up about it.

Husband is sick, thanks to all the new meds, and he has to take them for nearly a year. He is not a very good patient. Good thing for him I am. Patient that is

Thanks Bill, she always gets cast as the ingenue, the naive young love interest. So two of the last three shows she's died, one she was murdered and was so excited. This time she played Emily Bronte and died of TB.
