Good morning everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hey in case I get the ax today. LOL I just can't let anything go sometimes. Must be the Irish or German in me. 
Hope y'all are doing well today. I think we broke a record yesterday at 84 deg and possibly again today. Not bad for the first day of Spring! lol

Morning Vaps. My friend in Ladson (SC) is looking for a car. (Somebody pushed her off the road about 2 weeks ago and the ins. company totaled her car. She is looking for something reliable for under $4500.00. I know that that is not alot of $$$$, but was wondering if you either knew someone, or had any suggestions for places to look, ( since you live down there). Let me know either way. Thanks!

Morning all. Looking like bad weather here today. Just as well I have no plans to go anywhere. It's the first day of spring, although it's been quite spring like here for weeks.
Thanks for the reminder Kevin...must call the repair shop today and see how much longer they will have my car. I got backed into in a parking lot last week. Driving along the lane and a lady in a pick-up came out of her parking spot and hit the side of my car. Annoying.

Glad to help expat! I was just thinking vaps.....I'm German and Irish too, (along with a couple of others). That would explain alot then!
I'm not to familiar with that area other than passing through on my way to the beach. lol
She should be able to find a fairly decent car for that price. Nothing great but hopefully reliable. I just sold my Taco 4x4 on Craigslist last fall. I got about 10k more for it than the stealership was going to give me for it on a trade-in for my 2011 F150 ecoboost.
The only draw back on buying things off from private sellers is that there is no recourse if it falls apart. SC has a lemon law so if she gets one from a licensed dealer even if it's "As-Is" then she would still have some protection. But on the other hand, buying from a private seller is always going to be the cheapest way out and if she can get someone that knows their chit to help her look at them then she should be ok.

Thanks vaps. She's not finding too many "reliable" options for her price range. She is looking on C-list and Auto-trdr too. Just thought that I would ask you just in case you did.
