WHAT !!! Ya mean I can't be sarcastic anymore ?!?

In a nutshell, vaping is only complicated IF you want it to be.

add:
Q: which mod should I buy?
A: which ever one you want.

Q: which atomizer should I buy?
A: which ever one floats your boat.

Disagree. The obvious answer to both questions is

All of them!

Not, but teachings that survived two thousand years must have value.

Perhaps I should revisit the Good Book.
All the big religious works are worth reading. Siddhartha , Abraham , and Muhammad were smart guys too.
Only advice I can give is be careful about the translation you read. A lot of the translators had various political agendas.

Good book to spend time with for sure. I like a little at a time and then give it a good amount of thought for the rest of the day. For that, I use an app called Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon or good ol' Our Daily Bread for a mix of daily life.

    1. People don't read
    2. People can't spell (or can't be bothered to care)
    3. People are lemmings

Sounds cynical and negative, right? Consider the following examples taken from actual questions and answers...

    Q. "I'm looking for a duel coil top air RTA... what do you suggest."
I kind of laughed at this... it is DUAL not DUEL. But if you really want to DUEL with RTA's, then the only thing I found on the interweb about anything RTA that you can duel with is an M60 tank, and it seems like overkill for a duel.
    A. "Peacemaker from squid industries"

Now, the Peacemaker is a fine RTA, I'm sure, but it's a single coil, bottom air RTA. Somehow, the Peacemaker, or the Fatality is always brought up. I don't get it...
People mainly answer from experience. The other thing to note, is sometimes new members have no idea what they want. I always try to probe more for what they like. There is more to vaping than just how many coils are out there. I am a Tootle puffer, and I find that single coils can be built just as good. I would like to know more about what they are looking for before I answer a question like that.

    Q. "What's the best single 21700 regulated mod right now?"

    A. "Get the Aegis Legend"

    A dual 18650 is the best single 21700? C'mon...

Don't know how this was taken into context. It might be further down into the discussion.

    Q. "I want to get into RTAs. What's a good starter?"

    A. "Goon 25!"

    Really?
The goon 25 has it's plusses It's a better option than most... like the SMOK TF RTA, that person who answered that may just think the extra build space would give a new guy less problems, or the popularity of the goon means that more options will be available, like squonk pins, etc.

    Q. "I'm not a cloud chaser... just want a MTL tank... what's available?"

    A. "Falcon... it's the best!"

    Sigh...

Maybe the answer er is new to the lingo. :)
What have you seen out on the interwebs or in your local B&M that make you say ...?

Any time I walk around vaping, and someone says "those things are more dangerous than Cigarettes".

Only interesting note here, is a vape store that opened up close to me is literally right across the street from a christian academy, and they tried to close them down. Knowing the area fairly well, I can see why they chose that area.. it's on the main town strip, but right outside the downtown area and closer to the area where there are vacant office areas. Cheaper rent, which is probably why the school is closer to that area too. It just ended up to where when you leave the school, you can go left or right on the main strip, or go straight and go to a dollar store or the vape shop. :)

Which is why I posted this here and named no names rather than calling out every idiot I see offering bad advice on every thread.

Some time people calling it out is the only recognition we idiots ever receive. When you are an idiot, any recognition is like a glorious moment of fireworks. The rest of the time is like the lonely silence of sitting in space wondering if an alien ship will ever fly by to rescue you but knowing it probably won't. As an idiot, you wouldn't even mind if an alien implanted something in your stomach that would eventually burst out because that would be at least be company for a little while. sigh. I need some Zima.

Nothing to see here... move along... just a vaper losing his mind... move along... pay no mind to the mini rant...

I'm on several forums, and a member of several Facebook Groups. In watching, reading, and responding to these over the years, I've learned a few things about the nature of the universe.

I don't mind a bit of off the cuff bad advice. I mean, some people are not smart. I can accept that.

I really dislike the endless SCREED of bad advice of passionate posts because someone is a DEDICATED idiot. A dumb recommendation is one thing, I dumb screed is quite another.

LOL I am about to write my own screed, that I want to READ in the staff meeting tomorrow about why "hated by everyone doc" gets special treatment and that the answer is, some people do because they are "special" in that southern type of way, meaning ......ed.

I NEED SOMEONE to tell me this is BAD ADVICE to myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel ya, Shawn. I had been a member of several fb groups and just cut it down to about two. I was no longer teaching, learning, or being entertained. Just frustrating. Reddit, Discord, MeWe are crazy too.

Reddit is pretty horrible with bad suggestions lol! I cringe every time I peruse there.

Argentines are infatuated with the DJV RDTA and they recommend it to begginers. Sure, it's easy to build, but dual coils need an experienced hand. I've had many an argument about that, but some people simply don't understand.

Now my moment about syntax and bad english. Although I've spoken english since age 5 sometimes my mind is in spanish mode. Apologies to all that had to deal with that over the years! Thanks!!!

Real Men DL vape 50mg freebase flavored with methyl salicylate in a steel mech mod. They scrounge their coils from the scrap yard and spray brake clean to wash out the gunk. Wicks being for nancies, they drip onto the bare wire, though some will use a strip of worn denim for convenience. And talk about how the tradition was handed down by grandpappy who pioneered 12 volt lead-acid vaping, which was known as electrified huffing at the time.
