LoL Hxj, I am not giving up, just disappointed. I always recommend Eco-rich, gave a bottle to some friends to try and they liked it so much they ordered 5 15ml. When they got it, Was not even close to what I know and love. I felt so bad about it I gave them 5 good bottles out of my stash.

Honestly, I don't know whats going on, but as it's the only juice I use, I am getting a little worried...

It is a little strange. This isn't like when Johnson Creek decided to redo all their recipes to get the tobacco products out of them; as far as I can see there was never a plan to change the formula for Rich, so I don't see why so much of it has been gross for the past couple of months. And then Intellicig said it was a recipe error which was fixed, but clearly it's not.

Wish they'd tell us something real about what went wrong and why it's apparently still happening. I mean, should I cancel my order? The atomizer I used for two puffs of Evil Rich still tastes funny, and the smell has infected the cart's plastic, too. Given how pervasive and offensive the odor of Evil Rich is, how does this stuff even leave the factory? Where's the quality control?

That's unheard of, if there really is a known quality control issue, the company should provide backshipping(if for no other reason then just to make sure the bad product is out of the public circulation). They should have wanted to get it back so they could verify the lot and do their own testing on it. As well as to make sure it was properly disposed of. Could you imagine McNeil labs making the customers pay for the backshipping on the poison Tylenol bottles back in the early 80's.(I know it's not the same level of seriousness but still, c'mon)
They were going to re-imburse me, but that wasn't the point. I didn't feel like paying out that kind of cash, even for a short time: Even Johnson Creek sent me a FedEx label to box up and schedule a pickup time for three bottles I returned. They were also very gracious, and I felt really bad but could not tolerate the 30% PG.

I do have one more point to make about the ECOpure Krystal, I haven't bought or tried the flavors at all, but the Krystal (and apparently by labels, all other VG based flavors) does contain Ethyl Maltol, which should smell very sweet and a little caramel scented...it tastes very bitter but smells sweet. The nicotine in bitter also, but should not have a scent really at all. The bottle I have does have a scent almost like acid. It's not real strong, and vapes fine, that smell doesn't come through in the vapor as a taste. ?? After it sits for a minute, that smell is no longer there. (Or, did my nose burn out!) So I tried it a few times, check it in a couple days, same thing. Leave the lid off a few minutes, it's ok. I have had no negative or ill effects from using it, and have been using it exclusively for a couple weeks+ now. The juice in my needle bottle I use for mixing does not smell like the big bottle does, it is air tight as well.
So what these smells are coming from is anyone's guess, I would think it time for them to come through with an explanation. If this doesn't turn around FAST, they will have no market left. This is supposed to be the world's most TESTED product available, so what is this awful smell. How this can happen, are they passing out old product, if so who is the tester here, a qualified Lab or the customers.
SO: Try to leave your lids off for just a few minutes, and see if that odor goes away in off gassing. I'm also going to make another of my famous e-mails I know they love to get (Not!) and see if I get an answer. It's a puzzlement to me.

Well, considering I could smell the stuff through the bottles, through the bag the bottles were sealed in, and even through the box the bag was packed in, I'd worry that leaving the caps off for a few minutes would render my house unfit for habitation. I mean, these were just three 3 ml sample-size bottles! It was really astounding! And I doubt a few minutes would have helped, considering the cart I used on Thursday still smells of the stuff, even after having been scrubbed out and loaded with different liquid. The half-life of that stench is considerable.

Anyway, I sent my bottles back to InnoVapor. (And yes, it was sort of obnoxious that I had to drive to the post office on a Saturday and fight for parking, and then wait in line, and then plunk down $1.40 or whatever to ship bad product back to be "evaluated." Hell, if the wind were just right, I'm sure they would have been able to smell it from here.) I thought it had to be a fluke, so I ordered five more 15 ml bottles of Rich to get one more order in before the 20% coupon went away, but now I'm not at all sure that I won't be waiting ANOTHER month for my order, which may or may not have more Evil Rich™ in it when it eventually shows up.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that I waited a solid month for my order of three 510 batteries, five atomizers, a PCC, a slew of blank carts, and it was all held up because of ECOpure... which then turned out to be bad and had to be sent back.

What really worries me is that my "e-cig friends" here at the shop are using this, and being beginners may not know good from bad, what if it makes them stop trying e-cigs!! And I'm the one giving out samples?? 8-o I don't know what or if I should tell them. Scarey! Do I wait for someone to say it's gross first? Or even worse, dangerous? Do we know? No, we don't. One of those "people" is my own daughter. So I care a little. I know Hydrochloric acid is used in some manufacturing (yes, even food) processes to reduce ph, but what if too much is added? Nausea, burning, stomach and intestinal upsets....hmmm. That's the distinct odor I get from those bottles.

Ooops, I wrote too.....guess that was not good! NHaler does have some great juices, but I need VG, can't use PG at all. He may have some, but most don't sell VG with 36mg nic for mixing. I really want to stick it out with Krystal, because I was sure happy with my "JC" DIY.
Krystal is the best mixer VG out there, really.

I've found that my PG sensitivity, while still there, is less severe than it was, so I'm lucky enough to be able to scrape by with Johnson Creek reduced-PG recipes (especially the JC Original and Tennessee Cured, which are more reduced than the others), particularly if I cut them a bit more with VG. But I'd still rather have some all-VG liquid I like and trust, and was hoping that ECOpure Rich would fit the bill. With this apparently-recurring problem, however, I just don't know how much stock I can put in their claims of superior ingredients, purity, and quality control. I originally ordered ECOpure Rich back on August 8th, I believe, and I've yet to taste what it's actually supposed to taste like.

A friend who lives in Edinburgh is in town and agreed to be my Juice Mule, so I'll have some Decadent Vapours VG liquids on Saturday. Maybe those will be perfect for me, who knows? Normally I'd feel nervous about using liquids just mixed together by "some guy," but if this experience has taught me anything, it's that one guy you can trust may well be preferable to a company who, so far, doesn't seem to be very forthcoming about a known issue.

To be honest, I've forgotton how good Rich was myself until last night. Looking thru my stash box I found a 5 pack of Rich/VH prefilled carts from my very first IV order back on June 30th. Never the same since for me.
I put the filler into a syringe & managed to get 3 drops. Of course 1 went right onto my tongue & I thought, now THATS what it should be like.
I wished I'd remembered about these, I would've tossed one in with my return to IV & wrote, you tell me theres no difference!

Rob
P.S. I'm thinking of trying a little (very little) Lorann cotton candy &/or marshmellow in with the Regular/Gold. Just a drop or 2 to 10ml.

I got a very good response today from my PM, but did get a message to pass on from John, just to clear up any doubt:
"Quovadis, please contact me regarding the alleged 'nasty' email as I have no recollection of doing such a thing and do not believe for one moment that I have sent anyone a 'nasty' email. We have been doing everything possible to make things right for everyone and a number of people wj]ho have contacted me have all been sent replacements in quantities over and above what they originally ordered by way of compensation. If I have sent you a 'nasty' email then please make me aware of it and, if so, I will issue an unreserved public apology.
Thank you.
John Chamley.
Intellicig."
There is still on-going testing and theorizing at work to discover and prevent the past problems, so am VERY hopeful this will all go away and I can rely of my ECOpure Krystal (K36) being around for a long time! I still say it's the bottling! Wish I could prove that. But just as a little self-test, mine's in glass right now, and it's fine, just tiny whif of 'acidic' for a second, then just 'clean', that's what I like so much about this VG. Well, let's all hope it's done soon.

Well, now I can see where "Harsh" came from. Sometimes I guess our right to free speech should be maybe moderated by a little more patience and common decency. There is certainly enough snarky comments that are left to pass for intelligent communication. Believe me, I have trouble of my own with snarky critics, and that's fine, just not very palatable to others who get exposed to it. Or to the target. And far from decent.

Just got confirmation from InnoVapor that their entire batch of Rich Zero, received from Intellicig on 9/5, is bad. So I'll be waiting a while for my order.

Since Intellicig says that the problem was fixed and all shipments from 9/1 onward were good, this must have been one of the very last bad batches to slip out.

No word if any other strengths and/or flavors were affected.

I just checked, and my original order for Rich Zero was from 8/11-- that took a month to arrive, and then was bad. Should we start a pool on how much time will elapse from the original order before I finally get to taste what Rich is supposed to taste like? ;)

(I'm in less of a hurry now that I have a bunch of Decadent Vapours, anyway...)

I just received my second bottle of ECOPure Rich 30mg instead of the 24mg Rich I had bought previously and the color of the new liquid is almost a transparent light yellow compared to the brown color of the previous 24mg bottle. The taste is also kind of bland compared to the older 24mg liquid.

Check out the attached pic to see what I'm talking about.

Anyone else notice this with this new batch?

I think there might be some mislabelling going on..I got some zero recently (menthol) and it has the same brownish hue to it.
