hi guys, im having an issue and im wondering if anyone else has ever had it. me ego battery kinda fell apart a few days after i got it. the outer casing loosened up and it fell partially off. it was stopped by what looks like a black grounding wire connected to the inside of the casing. well i pushed it back up and noticed since then that any fluid i vape, even super light flavors start getting really dark and thick after awhile. also it seems like i get vapor but barely any flavor or throat hit. seems almost like im vaping air, like no or minimal nic fix. i used my wifes battery on a clearo i was about half done with and there was a huge difference, big plume of vapor and nicotine headrush. seemed almost like the nicotine was all concentrated in the remainder of the fluid.

so after reading all that heres my question, if the battery was faulty could it be causing the pg to be vaporized while leaving the nicotine and vg in the clearo? is there any way to test the battery to see if its bad? i know its not the atomizer or coil as i tried my clearo on another battery and it doesnt do it on there.

maybe i should clarify. by casing i mean the black outer shell, not the actual battery casing. the vendor said i could glue it back together and it would be fine. not using it atm anyway since its ruining my juice, but a little irritated if its a safety issue since i specifically asked the vendor if it was.

You asked for advice and got it. The casing came off, it's not vaping the way it should. More than enough evidence that the battery is bad. Get rid of it. Do not vape with it.

got it, not going to use it anymore, already ordering a genuine kanger battery. And FWIW if there was any impact it wasn't on my end. only had it less than a week and never once dropped it. Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers here. Just thought perhaps the term casing was misleading so i wanted to clarify. Again thanks for the responses, not using the battery anymore and sorry for the confusion.

No need to apologize. Just be safe with your equipment. Some things are repairable and could pose a threat to you or others.

There have been a few "big stories" hitting the press of fault ego batteries and/or chargers. A bad battery is a bad battery.

Most purchases are refundable withint 30 days of sale. And it's always a good idea to let the merchant whom you purchased something know if said merchandise is faulty. It might be their entire stock that was affected.

never hesitate to ask a question. And vape safe!

I think I'd look into a different vendor and toss the battery.
