Some of the issues with GV was back when the smoketech telescope first came out GV sold them without the vent holes and said they would vent through the threading, after a 3rd party did testing (it is on youtube) GV still said it was safe and said the person didn't know what they where doing.

Shortly after that those same pv's where pulled from the market for being unsafe.

Now that could have happened to any vendor, the reason it caused such problems was them not wanting to believe the testing.

This isn't the only issue but it was a big one, but honestly I haven't heard of anything bad since that, and the one time I ordered from them everything was fine.
they do seem to find the worst products to sell along with some good ones.thats all i've heard bad about them.so not totally their fault, just read reveiws before buying.

I have only ever had 2 issues with ordering from GotVapes, and BOTH of them were the USPS' fault.
I placed trouble tickets and within a couple hours, had a response and dialog with woody55 here on ECF, a customer service rep, even late at night on a Saturday!!
They have worked with me, showing great patience. You know how we can be when we don't get our vapemail!
I have nothing but praise to give them, and even though I could buy stuff closer to me in San Diego, I continue to order from them instead.

I have been a gotvapes customer since somewhere around 01/12. They are my sole supplier for anything clearo, and whatever else there may catch my fancy. I had one problem with a clearo way back, and they quickly replaced it. (It was within the scope of their warranty)

Aside from their excellent customer service, I believe in and stick with gotvapes because they are highly involved with their customers on their forum here, they are closely involved with product development and improvement with the manufacturers, and they kinda specialize in clearos. If it were not for their involvement, I don't think the vivi nova would exist in it's present form.

And they do try to limit their products to the best, only things that pass their product testing make in on their shelves.

One more very important thing- I always trust that I am getting legitimate products from gotvapes, never a knock off. (With the exception of recent knockoffs that were acquired when they couldn't get the real Vivis during CNY, but they are clearly marked as knockoffs on the site.)

I've ordered from them a bunch of times, they'd always been a good supplier.

The only problem I've ever had was an item missing from my order. It took a bit but they're sending it out. The newsletter discount is pretty nice too, but you have to actually sign up to recieve it.

I've placed a few orders with GotVapes, and have no complaints. I would have ordered more from them, but over the Chinese New Year they were out of a lot of things (as were most vendors) so I had to order from other vendors. I hang out on their forum here quite often, and they do seem to be very attentive and involved. There are a few extremely vocal people who have made complaints, but I find most that have problems and approach it with a good attitude have their problems resolved quickly.

Ive read bad stuff about them like they do bad business, dont stand behind thier products, dont replace faulty products, lie about the specs, etc... anybody here can substantiate any of that? I was gonna order something from them...

I bought some clearos from them, out of 5 clearos one was defective and leaked everything in it onto my battery within a day if i didnt vape on it. I just threw it out after fooling around with it didnt fix it but from what Im hearing they wouldnt have replaced it anyway.

Please advise.

The problem with GV isn't their confusing web site, high prices, or ridiculous advertising claims. The problem is that it is run by 2 lunatics.

I think in recent months, they've decided to let someone else take over customer service which can only benefit them. I've made 2 orders from them. I asked a single question about a charger when I first started and for doing so...one of the owners called my cell phone and left an abusive swear-word ridden msg. This was about 2 years ago. I've spent about 1500$ on vape stuff between then and now. My wife has spent about as much.

So b/c they wouldnt send out a new charger (cost of 4.95), they missed out on all this business.

Now for my serious post:

I only buy from GotVapes. Pretty much because that's who I started with when trying to find the genuine Vision Vivi Nova. I know that theirs is, so I continue with them. I'm pretty much afraid to try somewhere else and my purchases with hardware are minimal at this point in time anyway. I had one thing go wrong, sent an email and received store credit for the price of that item. I have seen the references you are speaking of and sometimes wonder if it just might be the tone that was taken to start out with. Not saying it was....just my take on the situations.

I have used GotVapes since September 2012 exclusively for all my Nova needs. Oh, October 2012, I should say. That's when I decided to try the Nova's.

Unfortunately that was my case too, but 5 times. Missing or missent items made me think twice again about putting a new order. Since then I've been buying from Stormy's. Quite displeased!
