This juice started out working decently, good flavor and everything, but in the past day something has gone terribly wrong with it I think. No matter what I do, I can only get about 1 or 2 good hits now. After that the flavor goes to crap, and I don't understand why. I've tested it on 2 atomizers, one of them was brand new, and the result is the same. I even washed one of them out, dried it, and still no success.

As awesome as vaping is, running into a different problem every week isn't :/

When I tested this juice out the first time and it worked well, I was using the BFD mod, not dripping. I just figure I'd throw that in. Could this just be a bad juice to drip with?

Have you tried vaping a completely different flavor for a day or two, then coming back to this one ? This is evidently a common problem, and I always see this suggestion as a possible fix....seems it gives the taste buds a break.

Would if I could, unfortunately, this is my last bottle of juice for now. :(

I don't know if that's it though. I just started using this flavor yesterday. It gave me no problems a week ago when I first got it, just testing it out, but now that I'm using it, it just doesn't want to work.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Believe me, if I had another flavor, i'd be using it instead.

might be due to the bad 510 atomizers. what model are you using?

A dse901. The 2 atomizers I ordered recently are different from the ones that came with my starter kit though. They have a metal looking plate around the bridge. They don't seem to take to dripping as well as the old ones did, but that's the only difference i've noticed.

Funk - the atty issue isn't confined to 510s only unfortunately - seen it reported for 901s too.
OP - I drip but NOT on a 901, so I cant help with model specific but what do you mean when you say 'taste goes to crap'? Is it harsh? Burnt? Bitter? Just 'different' than you remember from previous vapes? More info might help :)
Could it be your sense of smell aka tastebuds going into 'can't taste anything' mode? (A lot of us get that, its annoying but not uncommon)

I have a 901, and have dripped with it, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with them. I haven't seen one like you described, with a plate around the bridge. Do they still have the hole in the bottom? You can drip one into the hole on the battery side and see how it takes that -- just be sure to wipe any excess off before re-attaching the battery.

I also get a bit of the "flavor drop-off" due (I guess) to the tastebuds becoming desensitized to a flavor. Sometimes a cracker and a few drinks of water help. Also, exhaling through the nose helps me, as smell and taste are closely linked.

Another thing you may want to try is the PTB mod. Doing this to my 901 carts has helped the flavor factor quite a bit for me.

It's definitely a burnt taste. The juice is Dr. Pepper but it tastes like diet Dr. P mixed with coke to me. When the flavor starts diminishing it starts to taste a lot more like coke, if you could put it in the oven and burn it maybe. At first I wasn't getting a throat hit whenever this flavor came up, just that sorta nasty metallic tasting vapor, but now the hit seems harsher than it was with good flavor.

Does leaving the juice in direct lighting effect it in any way?

It's not supposed to be good for it to be left in direct lighting, though I'm not really sure why...
