Congrats on not giving in and smoking an analog. I smoked a couple here and there when I first started vaping, but then got to the point where I would rather vape after a week. Haven't touched one since...

This sums up my experience so far. I also think it heavily depends on how heavy of a smoker the person was before they start vaping.

I smoked a pack of ultra light cigarettes every two days before I started vaping. The transition wasn't horrible.

Once you find that flavor that you really like, start hitting it when you get your major cravings. The nic urge will eventually wear off. I work in a high stress job and often crave the analogs. When I do, I just take a short break and grab my Menthol Ice. After about 5 minutes, I no longer have the urge for a smoke. Now I just crave the M Ice!

Have not touched an analog in 3 months!

Sleepless nights, acne and weight gain, yeah quitting throws some extra challenges at you.
I find the smell of analogues grosses me out now, but was really craving one last night as my husband sat behind me smoking one.
I chain vaped and was ok after 10min.

*Husband is trying to go complete cold turkey in the next few weeks, I think he will end up joint team vape.

I also was tossing and turning when I first quit analogs/ began vaping. Kudos to the vets here's as they suggested I vape a lower nic/ mg in the evening. It worked immediately and no more sleepless nights.

Then I've been lucky. I was a fairly heavy smoker but haven't had any serious bad effects making the switch. I mean, I haven't stopped dead with the "analogs" just yet (it's been just a week and change now) but two cigs total in a day is about all I have. I only get this rather mild urge to "have a real one". Which I think may be because the nicotine content of the Blu cartos is too low. I've got some stuff on order to deal with that.

Every other cessation approach, though, has always been a total horror show. "Cold turkey", for one, is out of the question. I'm temperamental by nature. When I've tried going cold turkey, I'm an intolerable mass of horse's rear (he said, euphemistically). Heh, had times friends threatened to hold me down and force me to smoke they couldn't put up with me. :)

Even the gum and the patches, my temper goes out of control. Feel like I have a flu all the time, dizzy spells, insomnia, crazy stuff.

I sympathize with anything anybody goes through to escape tobacco. Been there, done that, chewed through the T-shirt...
