Bad PG from Essential Depot?

Hey guys,

Cracked open a fresh gallon of PG from eseential-depot... and it has an off/chemical/sour aftertaste. I cant recall every trying straight PG before, but I could've sworn it was virtually tasteless. Am I going crazy or did I just mix 4 big bottles with funky PG?

PG on its own is not a good taste. It's nothing like the sweet smooth taste of VG but for some reason the taste of PG doesn't show up in the finished mix. Thank goodness for that!

OK, so PG is kinda wretched on its own? I dont know why, but I've been mixing for a long time and never tried straight PG... and randomly decided to try some tonight. I've had nothing but amazing results from E-D products, so I was hoping there wasnt an issue...

Actually has more calories per unit weight than table sugar, but it has a low glycemic impact.

I'm sensitive to PG side-effects, and I also dislike the taste of it. I don't know if one affects the other.

If I had to describe the taste, I guess the best I can come up with is 'musty'...

VG just tastes slightly sweet, to me.

Tractor Supply PG it is very good and it is U.S.P. , clean smelling and tasting. I am very pleased with this product. Give it a try.

Just took a whiff of my ED PG that I've had for over six months with no detectable order.

That said, over a year ago I tried 'flushing' my drip atty to switch flavs. Ummm, not too pleasant. Since then I use my nic base (nic/PG/VG) for da cleansing process; mucho better.

I never thought of using NIC. I usually just fill my tank with PG and vape until all the previous flavor is gone and the wicks are clean.

saw this thread and freaked just got another gallon so i popped it open and said whew no smell. so i stuck my finger in and tasted it. guess i wont do that anymore lol mmm so thats what liquid wax tastes like.........
