I have had multiple protanks in the past, they where good to start out with but I soon got bored with them. I had similar issues with the lack of taste output. Make the step into the sub tank range. I can never see myself going back to anything over than a sub tank or rda/RBA/RTA. The flavour production is ramped up ten fold. They are a bit more costly but my god they are worth it.
