I realize it was and is a very busy time of the year for the Post Office, yet this seems a little extreme for Priority Mail.

My order seems to have gone in a round about direction.

From New York it went to Atlanta Ga. which is fine, though it took from the 20th till the morning of the 22nd to get there or at least posted. I live in Jacksonville, Fl. area. so that was only 6 hrs away, give or take. What gets me is, it sat, apparently, in Atlanta, till the morning of the 23rd. From there it went back north to Memphis Tenn. Seems kind of like a back track to me. It got to Memphis the evening of the 25th. there it sat till this morning on it's way to whom knows where.

So I most likely will not receive it for at least another couple of days.

Ugh, that sucks! You may want to check with the vendor to make sure that they have your address (including your zipcode) correct. It could be that your zip is off by one digit (and if it's the leading digit, that could wreak havoc!) which would explain your parcel travelling around in circles.

I had a package get lost right before christmas. Apparently it is lost for good now.

RTDVapor has been EXCELLENT though, they have offered to send me a duplicate order free of charge.

I know how you feel. I am waiting on a certain order that, according to my email, was shipped Dec. 12. I am wondering if it got lost. The other orders I made have already arrived.

Same here, I have yet another package that's been sitting in the same sort facility since the 22nd. The est. delivery date has come and gone... To think they're going to phase out half of the sort centers next year, that'll really cause some chaos.

YEah that travel route seems .... backwards to me, I glad to hear it finally arrived, now for you just have to wait on the doorbell, lol. I was getting antsy waiting for my package to get here but I just kept telling myself it was the holidays! Lol, I hate waiting for packages, sometimes the tracking makes the wait worse, good luck!

I ordered my SV with express mail, so I would get it before Thanksgiving, but it messed up and I had to go get it that Friday from the post office.

I was tracking a package that hadn't moved since December 22nd. I just had a feeling and checked my mail (in the pouring rain in my pj's, no less) and it showed up today, shipped via Priority Mail. Tracking still says it hasn't arrived. Go figure.

Unfortunately, they do not update very frequently.

FWIW, I have a supplier that is barely 1 mile south of me. He is just over the county line. When I order from him, it has to go to the main distribution center in his county which is 20 miles south. Then they send it to the distribution center in my county which is about 20 miles north and then finally it arrives less than 1 mile away from where its was sent.

At least I'm not the only person with a love/hate relationship with the post office. More hate than love, usually.

One thing to remember with USPS Priority Mail is that it does not come with tracking. The "tracking number" you guys are looking at is only a Delivery Confirmation Number. Sometimes they get scanned, sometimes they don't. The only real purpose of it is to prove that a package was delivered. The only way to get a true tracking number with USPS is by using Express Mail.
