Now that I no longer have my dial settings mixed up (ahem) I have been attempting to try out all my gear at various voltages and have a carto that was really hard to screw on. It occurred to me screwing it down might be dangerous but I did it anyway. Then, of course, instead of screwing out it started to spin the whole connector. I managed to get it out by holding the connector with some needlenose pliers and put an atty back on hoping it still worked--but nothing. Tried diff atty, swapped batts, nothing. I was so bummed. Opened a MV ticket even though my warranty up today (well ordered on 10/16, had 3 days later) and wasn't sure if this would be considered "user abuse" or not (as it's just another a 510 carto seemingly the same as all my others...)
Then lo and behold it decided to start working again two hours later. As far as I can tell it's the same as it was. Though now of course my connector is kind of loose. Should I apply more glue or what?
