for a while now i have been struggling with flavours and being limited in source i can only pick what is avaialbe. even the companies/shops that ship wont go internainaol. frustrating.

well i went ahead and tried a company called "Scentium-Flavourings" which for some reason doesnt have the ingredints on the bottle. its a company from Spain.

anyways...after much drama and me repeating the same mistake over and over .. persisting on banana...i happened to discover the source of my problem. LOL it was sooooo unpredictable i would have never thought.

it was the banana flavour that had the whole mix of tones in flavour. it was toxic alcohol.
i took the lid off the flavour bottle and decided to just take a tiny taste. i went and tested all of them one by one. banana was the source of the issue. and this was with 3 brands. not just one.

i swear when i tasted the banana i was dizzy. literally! it gave me a buzz. other flavours had no such impact!

i went through then the rest and guess what? the milk custard one sooooo good it was beautiful.

the remaining flavours i had were all ok too (the new brand that is, scentium-flavourings)

ok so i put cotton in the wick and vaped the milk custard whatever it is.
when i smelt the bottle it was sweet and pleasant ...when i vaped it it lost some of its sweetness not too much though. i guess because one of two things... (1) heating it? or (2) i didnt put much in the bottle cause i was just trying it out.

not sure.

also, in the pic. is this normal? it turned dark brown. the coil and the cotton. 37Watts. LOTS of vapor! single coil. @0.7ohms.

Lots of flavorings have ethyl alcohol in them, especially a bunch of the fruit flavorings, and even others like Dulch de Leche, Milk Chocolate, Cream Cheese icing, and others in TFA flavorings here in the US (which is the company flavorings that I use). Other flavoring companies over here also use it! I assume it's similar for the company you're getting yours from in Spain.

There's 2 ways of handling it though:

(1) Look for the same flavoring from the company in Spain, but made without the ethyl alcohol. They may have it, as many companies have a version with it and another without it. For example, TFA "Blueberry Wild" flavoring has it in it, but TFA "Blueberry Extra" flavoring does not. Same with TFA "Strawberry" has it, but TFA "Strawberry Ripe" doesn't, etc.

(2) Let the ethyl alcohol evaporate out of the flavoring. It won't reduce the amount of your flavoring in your bottle by much at all, but will get rid of the "sting" of the alcohol. You can do it to the whole bottle of flavoring at once, by shaking it and leaving the lid off of it several times a day...for at least 3-4 days. Or, make your eliquid recipe and then do the same thing to it with the shaking and leaving the lid off of it.

I did that to a recipe I made using Juicy Peach (had ethyl alcohol) that was very strong with it to the point I couldn't bring myself to vape it at all. After doing the above with shaking & leaving the lid off for 3-4 days...now it's very vapable with no problem.
