been trying some of my juices and have to say im dissapointed with most
the ones i have liked so far have been;
-grape (FW)
-peach (FW)
-gauva (FW)
-dragonfruit (FW)
-bananalicious (found this recipe somewhere, i used whatever brands i had it has banana cream(TFA), vanilla custard (TFA), french vanilla (TFA) and banana (FW))

i was not impressed with these stand alone flavours;
-butterscotch (tfa)
-Bavarian cream (FW)
-pomegranate (LA)
-banana (FW)

or these recipes (clones) i found online;
-Claim your throne (butterscotch (TFA), sweet cream (FW), vanilla custard (TFA), cinnamon sugar cookie (TFA))
-mothers milk (cake batter (cap), raspberry (FW) [was supposed to be strawberry but i forgot to order it], sweet cream (FW), vanilla custard (TFA), bavarian cream (FW))
-dragon blood (dragonfruit (FW), raspberry (FW) [was supposed to be strawberry but i forgot to order it],bavarian cream (FW), sweet cream (FW), french vanilla (TFA))

im gonna give the flavours i dont like a week at a time before trying them again and see if they progress any better after a decent steep time because i only made them a few days ago
ive found alot of them sickly/sickening :/
the flavours i liked i found awesome though haha so its not all negative, i have a feeling that the reason i dont like the mothers milk or dragon blood clone is because of the raspberry because its the same flavour in both that im finding bad so i might try them without it if they dont get any better and will look for a good strawberry :)
im yet to try a few and some of my flavourings havnt even been oppened yet so im still excited to get to those
just thought i would share my progress and ask for anyones oppinions or thoughts :)

I feel your pain. I bought lots of flavorings in the beginning, and by the way, the raspberry I used once was extremely harsh and smelled like fingernail polish remover. Could not vape that one at all.

I didn't have much luck with DIY flavors. Matter of fact, I didn't find very many vendor eliquids I cared for all that much. I did make a couple I liked, but I got suspicious of the diketones and such. So, while I think the flavors can be instrumental in getting smokers to switch to vaping in the beginning, I enjoy plain, unflavored DIY now. Easier and cheaper, too.

Good luck!

ah cheers for he advice, i think ill just steer clear of that raspberry, some i do really like so ill prabably just stick with those ad slowly try new ones to see what i like
yeah i have tried some flavourless, i dont mind it and would do it, but i do like my flavour most of the time, sometimes when it gets a bit much i switch to unflavoured just to give my taste buds a rest and freshen myself up, sometimes having flavour all day can get quite "heavy" for lack of a better word

What kind of juice do you like? Do you mainly have FW flavors? FW flavors seem to need a higher percent added to recipes.
I use mostly vape bakery flavors but I'm starting to us Flavour Art flavorings more. they cost a bit more but you use way less to get a great tasting juice. Here is a place you might find some juices you would like also. http://www.ejuicerecipeforum.com/ejuice/community/#e-juice-recipes.3

FlavourArt makes some good flavorings. Here's a good thread, with several recipes. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/pure-vapes-has-3ml-flavourart-flavorings.518022/

Inawera is also liked by many. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/inawera-a-few-reviews.477601/

For tobacco flavoring, Hangsen is very good. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/f...ion-tobacco-flavoring-discussion-only.667055/

FWIW, I have a few dozen in my collection that I don't care for. I only keep them around in case I meet a fellow vaper that likes that flavor and then I'll PIF.

I'm still new to the DIY scene and yea I completely understand your frustration. I purchased a bunch of small flavors mostly cap and tfa but only have two or three solid recipes that I really like. Plus I ran out of those flavors pretty quickly lol and being frustrated with the ones I'm not sure about yet I also started vaping unflavored and I actually like it a lot. Still want to experiment with flavors though. I put in a new order last week and it seems to be lost in the mail and I'm all out of Nic lol so I'm having to suffer through my reject liquids until further notice.... but just stick with it and I'm sure you well eventually find your groove good luck :)

I like very few flavors as stand alone. Yeah the substituting raspberry might be part of the problem. I use the ripe strawberry in those recipes. I just think its less candy like. Keep playing around and you will eventually find some you really love
I seem to like the INW Shista Rassberry.

I have some TFA Raspberry that has a nasty chemicaly taste, but I found that if you let it sit for an hour or 2 with the cap and spout off, that flavor tends to evaporate away. That trick seems to work with most other flavors that have a chemical flavor in them as well.
i will give this a try and see how it turns out thanks :)

I use 2 out of 139 flavorings so you are NOT alone. :confused: Took me awhile to realize I DO not like to taste any food flavors as an all day vape! :cry: Sure wish I had figured that out wayyyyy sooner. :unsure: I thought I was just weird. :laugh: Good to see I am not the only 1 who has trouble figuring it out. :thumbs: Good Luck on figuring out what your favorites are. ;)

I also find that flavors I did'nt like way back when I like now so don't go tossing those flavors into the garbage just yet. store them on an out of the way high dark shelf. Then in a year or two when you find those flavors that you completely forgot about during some spring cleaning you'll try them again and maybe have a change of heart.
