Excellent - I really don't want to come over as some sneaky **** trying to trick people.

I've updated my sig line, and I've made some changes on the actual banner creation page to make it clearer there is a shop on this site. I accept that this could have been clearer from the outset, but all I can do is stress that this was not done with malicious intent.

Anyway, looks like we're all sorted so let's move on! :)

I have no hard feelings. I really like your banners. I'll set one up eventually. Way to go on that app, and hopefully it'll drive some appropriate businuess your way.

Thanks man. Yeah - I would like to raise awareness of my site. I'm never going to compete with the 'big boys', I basically just sell the essentials for newbies to get started.

Anyway, still happy to take feedback/feature requests on the banners. I think I might add a 'montly ecig upkeep' option, to try and make the figures as fair as possible.

I plan to release a new version of the banner next week. The banner will now flip between showing the current info (length of time you've quit, how much you've saved) and a 2nd page of info. I'm looking for suggestions for the 2nd page of info. Use of the 2nd page would be optional. So far my thoughts are:

Favourite device (e.g. DSE901b)
Favourite Flavour (e.g. Vanilla)
Personal message - 120 characters of custom text. E.g. "I love ECF" etc.

Any other suggestions?

The amount saved is worked out by taking how much you would have spent on 'real cigs' and subtracting the cost of buying the equivalent number of cartridges. Since this varies from person to person, the tool allows you to state how many cigs you think a cartridge is equivalent to.

You can also specify an upfront 'kit cost', which is also taken into account.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm considering adding a 'monthly upkeep' to cover the costs of atomizers/batteries/new models etc that we all get addicted to buying :)

Whilst the tool doesn't directly support the use of liquid, you can factor that in yourself by adjusting the cartridge cost and how many cigs you consider them equal to.

hmmm how about instead of cartridges we could have ML of liquid used as an option or something like # of carts used in a month with ML of liquid to be factored into the equation...not on the actual signature
just another advanced option to add to the creation tool to help better reflect actual useage costs ...
another option would be an acceseries option where you could put in a general amount of money you use on a monthly basis for acceseries for your esmoking habit ... to be factored into the equation as well
