Yes, you are correct- This is a very political thing...do a little searching here on this forum and you will find how Big Pharmaceutical companies do not want e-cigs to catch on= they lose money!! They also fund quite a bit of what the FDA does- thus the FDA is cahoots with them... just follow the money- it has nothing to do with what's good for you or I but money that can be lost if people don't stay sick. That and the ANTZ (Anti Nicotine and tobacco Zealots) that are out to get rid of anything that faintly resembles smoking- these are crazy nut-jobs that continue to somehow have influence over the Lemming Masses....

I agree Tenn Dave, and even if they FDA didn't care, big tobacco with there lobbyist would be losing money and the states would lose the taxes, on it. The sad thing is if big tobacco started producing e cigs, most of that opposition would go away.

Lorillard bought Blu...I didn't know if you knew that. It's all about BP now. They are the ones losing because they know that their junk doesn't work for the vast majority. I look for other BT companies to jump on this and start making money...we can only hope that they don't contaminate the juice like they did the smokes.

To the OP, it's all about taxes...that's all the FDA is after. They could care the heck less about our health. If you think they really do, you're wrong! They only care about who can line their pockets with the most money.

Hairball's correct. It is Big Pharm not Big Tobacco that is suppling the money to try and have vaping banned.

This is why all of us must join and financially support CASAA!!!!!!!!!!

I here on the internet all the time about people that want to ban the sales of e cigs! What I don't get is if they're harmless and save lives then why would anybody want to ban them? If anything should be taken off the shelves it's the analogs!

E-cigs don't make any money for the governments around the world and some don't like it when they can't have their hand in the pot.

Tough nuggets. That's just how it is.

Money before morals.
Profits before aid.
Welcome to 2012.
