¯\_(ツ)_/¯
same here, I make ejuice for folks at cost, sometimes free....I never say what it is....if they ask if there's liquid I say yes...sometimes they ask what it is and I say essential oils (close enough), then they ask if it's combustible I say no.

If you buy shipping online, you can bypass all that. You can either slip it in a blue box at you post office if it will fit or you can schedule a pickup (free) at your house at USPS.com.

Postage costs more at the post office counter anyhow. But my point here isn't about saving $$$, it's about bypassing the inquisition altogether.

Of course, you have to have a printer. Labels aren't necessary if you just print out on regular paper and tape the label to the package well.

Priority mail boxes/envelopes are free, shipped to you free, but if you want to use First class, bubble mailers can cost as little as $0.25 each at walmart and sams club. Probably Costco too.

You can buy shipping online through Paypal or on USPS.com. With paypal, I believe you have to have a credit card on file, though. Doesn't need to be charged to the CC, but it has to be on file in your account. Otherwise they will give you an error and you can't buy.

I'm not sayin XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, just sayin :D

ETA: Of course, you'll need a small postal scale. The small analog ones are cheap. But if you mix your juice by weight, or if you have a kitchen scale, then you already have a scale. If you're shipping a lot, the small investment in a scale is worth it. Just remember that rounding up to the next ounce is best practice. In other words, 6.1 oz = 7 oz package, 4.7 oz = 5 oz package, etc.

As for packing materials, use your imagination. You can save some of the packing materials you get when you buy stuff online, but you can also use various bags that you use when you buy stuff at stores. Newspaper, flyers, anything that you can stuff in the package without increasing the weight too much will work.

Also, even if buy postage online but want to take ti to the counter to get scanned in, I have done this, and they never ask my questions. Maybe this varies from post office to post office, I don't know. But I think they might just not bother when you bring in metered mail.

Not for a small flat rate priority box. I used USPS click and ship to print a label for one. It was $8.45. When I dropped it at the post office the posted fee was the same price. It's been quite some time since I used click&ship but I do remember it was a bit cheaper than over the counter at the PO. I think things have changed.

    Somewhere between here and there
I almost always use paypal shipping. I don't know if it's cheaper or not but it seems to be. I sent a package that was about 3lbs and it was around $8. My wife took one to the post office to send to our daughter that probably weighed less than that and it was $11. However, I don't know if she bought insurance or not.

Good tip! I just learned how to do that. A small flat rate box would cost $7.90 instead of $8.45. So that's good to know if you sell goods/services with PayPal. I wonder if it works if/when you receive money sent to friends/family to avoid the PP fees?

Just going to leave this here there is one left in the red colorway it is a old mod like 2016 old at least that's when it came out but it is a DNA 75. I got the last wood one 10 minutes ago there's a couple other things on there including on asmodus pumper 21 for $20 in both black and purple I think there's one of each. I would have gotten it except I despise unregulated asmodus mods I just don't feel that they work very well but most people think they are fabulous and that is a stab wood 21700 squonk mod well worth $20. My personal favorite on that page they have a spruzza which is a fabulous regulated squonk probably my favorite single battery squonk I probably should have picked one up but I already have a purple one and I kind of prefer my squonks to be unregulated but just not unregulated as modus It's just a personal thing.
The DNA mod up above does have one thing that some people might not like there is a permanent LED light in the power button that is on whenever the screen is on that I do not believe you can turn off unless there is a e-scribe setting which I probably won't know until it arrives

There is no fee on buying postage and it is handy, however, I've never sent or received money where one party did not end up coughing up PayPal's piece of the action ..

USPS.com (Click-n-ship) and USPS counter are retail rates.
Payapl (and other online postage printing sites) get better pricing because you're basically using their USPS commercial account. Because they sell a lot of postage, they get "commercial base" pricing.

But the point of my previous post wasn't about saving money, rather to address the other problem with going to the post office.

Also, you don't pay paypal a fee when buying postage. Paypal charges a fee to receive money for goods and services, not for sending money or buying postage. Also no fee for receiving money using "Send to a friend" function (formerly friends and family function).

USPS Retail rate without tracking ($0.90 extra). Also has a 13 oz limit (forcing you to parcel select). Whereas online postage for FC has a 16 oz limit. Parcel select is slow and expensive.
