They sent me an email last Friday announcing that they were stopping online ordering as of 1 minute before midnight on Saturday.

I'm sure that's just to leave plenty of time to ship out and packages reach their destination before USPS cuts us off, since no one knows if USPS will return any vape mail packages out in the wild after the 27th...

All of the sites you frequent? I apologize, but I'm not sure who 'they' is referring to.

Yeah, USPS can ship until the 27th which is when they'll stop, but unless the site is willing the pay the price (which some are), that $15 adult signature bs is quite off-putting. I suppose if we're desperate enough to want to stock, that isn't so much a concern though. But yeah, there are other companies (can't think of the names off hand) that will still be able to provide shipment to particular regions. At this point, it seems most online stores are trying to figure out if they want to deal with that while something else is figured out or just hang up the boots. Tis a sad time for the industry.

And too, do the regional carriers want to deal with the administrative and logistical headaches that made the big three bail?

In a way though, it's kind of a great way to corner the market, if the accessible regions are profitable enough. Yes, I'm sure it's going to be a nightmare having to report sales and what not to the government, but I figure if they've made it through the pandemic (as everyone seems to think we have), why give up now?

If it were profitable, why did the big three ditch vaping like a hot potato? The record keeping and reporting is burdensome and the time for signature verification is a profit loser, and the fines for both the company and the driver if they fail to obtain it are steep. The added costs would have made shipping by these companies astronomically unaffordable had they taken it on that few would have been able to pay it.

Hoosier... that was the website in discussion when I originally replied, and the one I thought we were speaking of.

Ah yes, I apologize. Much had been discussed before I saw your reply. I was only using Hoosier as an example for bargain shopping. The only other place I'd feel confident in getting the product before the 27th would be from Freeman for juice - at least the shipping is free there.

Well, epacket is free, yes, if you order something like $20. But USPS expedited is better and usually no more than $6. It's DHL Ecommerce, delivered by USPS. Usually better than epacket.

I would never use "Registered Mail" option unless you want to wait 2-3 months lol.

Problem with Fasttech these days is that unless stock status is "in stock" or "ships next day", it could take a while before it ships. And there is a LOT of stuff that isn't "in stock" or "ships next day" these days on Fasttech.
I love how with FastTech you can never say for certain what something is or what's going to be the best option It's a complete crapshoot. But I've got something that I think is in the works that is really weird. I ordered something small and cheap because I wanted to just see what happens Of course I had to get a gift card to do so. Then 7 days later I got a $0.70 drip tip and did the completely free you know 30 to 60 day shipping thing which you know I expect it to arrive somewhere between Christmas and next Easter. But it's already left the country it's already left China. The item that I bought 7 days before and that shipped 4 days before hasn't even made it to the place where it would be shipped out of China yet. So I think something purchased off the free shipping might actually arrive before the ePacket this time but you know any number of things can happen in the meantime lol But wouldn't that be something

Yeah, Fasttech is a crap shoot all around. I usually pay for the USPS expedited anymore because generally I do get it faster than epacket, but not 100% of the time.

Then you have the stock status. When I placed my order 2 nights ago, 2 items that were "in stock" changed to "ships in X days" the next day. Then the day after, one of those items is now ready to ship, the other is still waiting for a restock with an ETA of 7 days. However, that could change to ready to ship tomorrow. For me, it doesn't matter becuase I never order in a hurry with FT. It's still annoying, though.

Oh oh, do you folks have recommendations as to what's of really good quality from Asmodus?

Everything I really know about is now sold out, but there is a Minikin 2 (gold is the only color left) when I was there earlier as well as the Minikin 3s kit (still available in red, white and purple colors).. I don't know the Minikin as well, but do know it was reasonably popular... they are out of the wireless charging stations, which I think used to be for those, though, and there might be some other items there still...

Last I checked the only thing that they had was the minikins just like opinionated said. I don't personally have one of them but I like their regulated products a lot. They have a good touch screen it does take a little bit to get used to them but their touch screens are solid they are made out of solid metal if you're looking for a very lightweight mod you're probably not going to find it through them but they work very well especially for wattage vaping they do usually have temperature control I'm not convinced that they have accurate temperature control but that was older chips I don't have any experience with the new chip it does say that they've improved their TC. And when I say that I'm not convinced that their temperature control is accurate I don't mean that it's bad It's good enough to keep you from burning your cotton for sure But do I feel like I'm getting the same sort of vape as I do out of a DNA device no. I don't but am I paying DNA prices no I'm not so I wouldn't expect it to be on the level of a DNA chip. In general they're just solid. Some of them have a battery wrap eating problem but it's their c frames that do that not the other mods so you shouldn't have to worry about that plus it's a pretty easy fix

I just bought 5 more mods and 4 tanks... I might have an issue... :img:
