New to the forum and a month into vaping. I'm using a Halo Triton and very happy with it. Easy. Safe. Portable. Idiot-proof. I've read a bunch and I'm still confused about a battery if I'm considering moving up to a nautilus. Vain as it is, aesthetics matters. Needs to be flush. And it needs to be simple. One button. Hidden electronics. And safe. Like idiot-proof. It's not that I don't want to learn. I've read a lot and I "get" it. I won't be sub-ohming. I don't beant to build coils or drip anything. I've got a toddler. That's hobby enough. It'll have a Nautilus. 5ml of Tribeca for when I get home. A lightsaber on the bookshelf, if you will. Cost is a factor, though again, simplicity and aesthetics. I'm a bike mechanic and have access to all sorts of gizmos, but still prefer an old steel frame fixed. Sturdy, simple, and safe. Thanks!

May be a little out of your price range, but the 2.5 version Provari from Provape is 22mm in diameter. It is one of the "sturdiest, simplest, and safest" regulated mods ever built. Comes with a 1 year warranty (try finding a Chinese made mod with that), and will have lifetime support from the USA company. If a little too pricey new, look for a used one in the ECF Classifieds as the Provari P3 just came out a few months ago and people may be upgrading to that. May be the last mod you'll ever need to buy.

Why Provari?

All good suggestions, and thank you. The Provari is likely the best option for my needs, I just wish there were something less, well, "refined." Cost is a factor, so would need to be used. It's also more than I need, you know? I'd consider a mechanical, maybe with a kick? I love the simplicity of the mechanical mods, but fret about safety with all that gear with a precocious three year old. The Provari has all the features, but it's a BMW where an old Volvo wagon would be preferred.

If you want a volvo, look at a sigelei 30w mini box. If you must have a tube, maybe consider the SVD 2.0? Frankly, there aren't a lot of tube mods that are offfering the value and build quality of the boxes these days. Relatively speaking, a mech with a kick is a pain in the ....

Otherwise, I agree with the others, your money is best spent on the provari in the long run.

As someone who managed a bike shop back in the day, I know what you mean--steel is real!
