I recently purchased the Jacvapour V1p PCC Starter kit and absolutely love it! I havent had a cigarette in days. I have a couple of queries though as i am only getting to grips with it, if anyone could give me a some pointers that would be appreciated!

Can i charge a battery at the same time as I charge my PCC?

Can i leave the PCC Charging over night even though it only takes 3-4 hours to fully charge?

When i place the cartomizers that I have filled up in my pcc, do i have to keep the plastic caps on them? If i take the plastic caps off, i am able to fit an extra spare cartomizer in the PCC, but im worried that the eliqiud may leak out/evaporate if i take the plastic caps off.

Cheers guys, any info would be great!

I have no experience with PCCs, so I can't really answer your questions.

I know it's usually recommended that we not charge batteries overnight because of the possibility of failure of the battery or charger. It's recommended that they are only charged when they can me monitored. I don't know if that applies to PCCs though.

Anyway, welcome to ECF. Congrats on your success so far!

I DO have experience with PCCs! I haven't used that one, but it looks pretty similar to mine:

First, you can charge PV battery while the pcc is charging!

I have left mine going overnight. I was not using wall socket speed charge, just the USB slow charge.

I would leave the rubbers on. Eventually one will leak, and it will be a bad day. My PCC doesn't even fit them with rubbers!

PCC's were developed to counter the short battery life of early ecigs. They've persisted because folks still use slim ecigs with small batteries and need backups to change while they are away from home. If you need to charge the PCC and a battery at the same time, just buy a spare charger. They usually run less than $10. We all need an extra charger. You don't know when one will quit on you, anyway. If you use a USB splitter on a single charger, you will be sharing the MAH capacity of the charger between devices and charging will take longer on each.

The alternative is to use batteries with larger MAH capacity. A 1100mah eGo battery will last you most of the day and a charged backup will take you through the night. MAH is king. You can count on about an hour of vaping for each 100MAH of the battery's rating.
