Basically the blue foam is like the sponge I use for washing dishes?

I just watched a few blue foam mods in youtube, the blue foam material looked like the yellow sponge I use for dish washing, except that it's blue that's all, are they the same material

No, not even close. the BF is more of a "plasticy" material, and has bigger "pores" in the material. Try to use a "dish" sponge piece in a cart and all you'll end up doing is burning up an atty at best I'd imagine.

But is blue foam really safe to use? I'm a bit skeptical about a lot of these cart filling materials...

It's different. you can get it at strictlyejuice.com for .75 cents for some.

It's more similar to the scrubbies for dishes but not exactly just closer than a sponge.

Eeeps, I nearly added dishwashing foam to try as a filler. Though was worried it may burn and checked here first

It is intended for use in aquariums... and if you know anything about fish you know that they are very sensitive to bad things in their environment. Of course, fish don't vape... and aquariums don't get as hot as our PVs.... LOL

I have been using the Blue Foam Darts for quite a while now and I love them. But, to each his own.
