Great review!! My mini is on its way I can not wait until it gets here.
You'll be happy with it! Because of the 14500 battery limitations, I would suggest you stick w/ a 2.0 ohm atty...unless you're running a hi-drain 14500.
This is the batterie I got and the charger. I hope it is the right one for the mini. It was suggested in chat and I ordered in right away.

Bamboo. he's right about the attys...if you end up wanting to use 1.5ohm, get the AW IMR 14500's They are GREAT batteries on the Mini.

The 2600mAh AW is a REAL snug fit in my Reo Grand. Works fine, but I prefer the AW Hi Drain anyways w/ my 1.5 ohm 510

I am assuming you are tied to the native connection as far as the mod usage goes? Would an adapter ruin the whole juice feeding thing?

You might not have good luck w/ the fat adapters, but the stealth ones should work fine. Only thing is that certain 901's might have trouble. Example: Cisco 2.0 901 since the coil sits sooooo high in the sleeve.
Nice review Basil, I have the same black Grande and it's matching little brother the Mini in Black, what else is there to say besides these babies, they are just Grande !!! and I have to agree with you they blow away any tank system out there as far as I'm concerned just no comparison.!
If you buy the adapters that R&R Manufacturing sells with the little brass feed tube that is in the center they work fine on the 901 and on the 801's, there is a slight learning curve to using them but they work fine
All the video reviewers gripe about the Reo door rattle. It's a brilliant audio cue to let you know if someone has picked up your Reo.

You can also use a 6v battery set-up in the Grand Amazon.com: Card Kit: 4 Tenergy RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Protected Batteries with a Smart Charger: Electronics There is a 5v set up, but it is limited by a short life (4-5 hour) long recharge (also 4-5 hour) battery.

I'm running my Reo Grande today with 2 x AW 3.0V =6V and let me tell ya something, this box is a monster vape at 6V and packs one helluva punch of vapor & Flavor, it's the first time I have tried this and I don't know what has taken me so long but if any others haven't it's a total must to get your Grande 2 of these AW 3.0V Batts in fact I would recommend more like 4-6 of them because your going to really like it at 6V.. I also have some XHV Attys and am running it at 7.2 and its also an amazing vape. Mechanical or not this Box will keep paces with the best of those VV Boxes with the right set up of Batts and Atty's and as far as its structure no other Box Mod is as strong and can take a beating as much as the Reo Grande, I'm liking mine more and more everyday I use it. I highly recommend this unit to anyone considering a new Mod purchase.
