Started out thinking I'd never want to push the button. Once I tried it, I haven't looked back. Manuals offer a steady, easy draw at the touch of a thumb (or finger, if you're a weirdo. ;) ) without the stuttered draw you can get if you don't apply the right amount of suction to an auto.

Also, Autos are prone to malfunctioning due to leaking juice for sloppy refillers.

Former auto user here, I've gone back and forth, but I'm on a manual kick right now. Been vaping for over a year now, and the further in my rear view mirror analogs are, the less I seem to care about simulating the analog experience. Manuals are...

*more reliable for drip-refills
*I tend to take fewer hits (can't be a bad thing, right?)
*my cartos don't look all nasty and chewed up because I don't have the darn thing held in my teeth all the time =)

I actually don't know. I lent my auto shorty and ppv to a friend to try for a few days. Also gave her the v4l card and this website. Right now I am just using my 2 manuals- love the xxl, but the shorty is always in the charger.
Another ? Does the xxl auto have an easier draw than an auto shorty because of the higher ohm(?) or is the only difference a longer battery life

I started out with manuals, but have been using the autos exclusivly for at least 8 months now. I don't like buttons :). It took awhile to perfect the draw but I have it down now. I don't refill much but when I do, I fill cartos off the battery and let them sit awhile to soak up the juice. Never killed a battery yet.

AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO AUTO any day over manuals. I am using a manual P/T right now and have to stop typing to puff on it. Bottom line is if you use your hands alot your going to want an auto for the hands free use. I would not survive a round of Battlefield without my Auto. The draw is a bit tighter and you do need to give it a few primer puffs to get the cartomizer going. The manuals are great as Doshma said being that they do heat the cart faster and the draw is more airy creating more vapor. I say its safe to say having both is a great thing to do.
