LiFePO4 batteries have the protection built into the battery chemistry, which is different from Li-Ion. Stacking batteries is inherently riskier than not ... but these are the batteries to do that with and I don't know of any problems people have had. In addition, your mod should have venting, just in case.

Use the Smart Charger for RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh LiFePO4 Rechargeable Batteries, e.g., from All-Battery.com or EcigSupply ... or see the MadVapes kit mentioned below. Do not use the Smart Charger for RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Li-ion rechargeable Batteries.

750 mAh is the standard for LiFePO4 RCR123a batts. I see that MadVapes now sells a battery/charger kit ("Haoba" brand that I've never heard of, rather than Tenergy) and rates it at 880 mAh. I know nothing about that battery, although I do respect MadVapes. [For whatever reason they don't sell the batts separately from the two-battery charger kit.]

Enjoy your 5V vaping experience! [And don't use LR attys/cartos at 5V.]

It is generally ok to stack batteries, but it is concidered to be more of a "risk". The reason is,especially with as much draw we put onto a battery while vaping, that one battery in the stack will tend to drain faster than the other one, so there is a possibility for one of the batteries to discharge past the suggested 20% min charge threshhold (not 100% sure on the LifePOs will get back to that later). Another thing that one should keep in mind while using stacked batteries, is to keep the batteries in pairs, meaning that always charge and use the same two batteries as a set.

Vaporers have been using stacked batteries since the beginning of modding with no issues at all (Including me) but there is more care needed for stacked than single batteries.

LifePo,s need to be charged with the charger that is meant for it, that,s onething that I have been hearing since the use of them.
