My buddy called me back. He said DO NOT mix the LG's and the Imren's. Different discharge rates. If you were able to get the 3 - 2500mah's together, you're probably fine but, from what you described, they're a "re-wrap". Assuming they're "new", it's good that they're paired together for the rx200. As far as charging goes, the rx200 charges "unbalanced", as to say, it may say/indicate a full charge but, may not have completely. Best to use the stand alone charger. For the LG's and Imren's you have, keep them with the IPV34li.
Thank you again.

I'll go hunting tomorrow for batteries I am 100% they'll be cheap ones but at least I'll get 3 of a kind...

Imren?
40A?

Hope everything works out for ya.

I, personally don't have the patience for this thread.

Most of the good questions and information seems ignored.

Hopefully some patient saint will come along and not be ignored.

I'll call 2 for you.

Aalmosawi, there are several reputed websites that sell reputable batteries at a good price. The websites I'm thinking about, like Illumn.com, aren't related to e-cigs, but to higher powered flashlights. Could a package from here possibly make it to you, or do you think customs would stop it? If a package from a flashlight website can get to you, the only thing stopping from you getting great batteries at a good price would be if they charge you an arm and a leg for shipping. It's worth to look into to see if the shipping isn't too much, then you could order several batteries and even a good 4 bay charger from them to make any shipping cost worth it.

I've had the RX200 for 4 months or so. I like the idea of just buying three new, same-make batteries.

Then I consider that batteries are cheaper bought in twos of fours. Then I consider that the RX200, in my experience, can take unevenly-charged batteries and return them to similar charges, as well as the fact it charges to no more than 4.1 volts (again, this is speaking only for my unit.) marrying batteries is a good safety guideline but I trust this mod will warn me when one or more batteries is too low.

I hate to go against generally accepted good advice, which is, buy three new brand-new identical batteries.

But I also feel like brand-new batteries with different claimed specs, as long as the real specs are above what is required for your atomizers, is fine.

So sue me.

Ok so i have a new shiny rx200 and i am limited in my choice of batteries.
because i had bought my batteries for my original ipv3Li i bought two pairs (2 imren 3000mah, and 2 LG-HG2 3000maH).
Now. both these types of batteries are 3.7volts.

since i have four batteries, two of each kind, can i put 3 in the rx200? two lgs + 1imren or 2imren + 1LG?

and is this is a series mod or parallel?

i am not able to order these batteries as i am travelling. in worst case scenario what would happen if the recommendation is not to mix and i still do it?

update:
i managed to get 3 batteries from the shop that sold me the unit. he says he doesnt bring in brand names cause they hardly sell so he brings these in ... they are UNLABELED but he's told they are 2500mah batteries.
they all are the same color. no writing on the batteries at all. just pink in color (wrap)

i plopped into the rx200 and the work ok.
if you didn't use it, return it, go buy samsung 30q or 25R, lg he4 or hg2, sony vtc4 or vtc5

I don't think the problem is that he's trying to be cheap, I think the problem is that vaping is banned in his country, and the stores around him seem to carry re-wrapped batteries. I thought to myself fasttech would be the easiest choice for him, but it seems he might have to pay extra with no guarantee of delivery. I could be wrong, and would hope so, as that would make it much easier for him.

We understand that. (I think it's a we thing)

But he didn't mention flashlights or batteries in general being banned.

Safety is pretty important here. If it were me, I'd be going out of my way to get safe, married batteries in my high wattage device so I don't risk 3rd degree burns on my hands and face.

I'd pay dearly for that piece of mind.

I'm here, when I'm here
Good Lord people! Are you not seeing what is on the page in front of you??

"Before you ask why i cant buy this or that. I am in Baghdad/iraq. thats all the stuff thats available to us in a country where vaping is banned"

Maybe he doesn't have the resources in Baghdad as we do here in the good ole U.S. of A.

Y'all keep talking about flashlight batteries. Typical/standard flashlight batteries are what?? "AA", "AAA", "D"?? 10:1 those are probably readily available. Maybe 18650's aren't as easy to come by with a brand name on them?? And, no one on this entire forum has ever bought batteries from Amazon or eBay?? No one has ever used a rewrapped battery?? Have you ever heard of a battery company buying some other companies "seconds" or "thirds" and putting their wrap on them?? You could be using some of those batteries right now and not even know it!

He's doing the best he can with what he has available to him at the moment. Cut the guy some slack for crying out loud!

this is the only types of batteries i was able to find locally.

i think the samsung 28F are the best ones which will fit my need.
at least these are the same ...
and i got some LC branded ones. they say 18650 and are 3800mah. thats about it.

I believe those will be okay as long as you use the same batteries together as a set. The pink do look to be re-wrapped, and I am not liking the ripples in the sleeves over the wires. The Blue ones seem to have a better wrap. I would pick up a good charger with a meter so you can view what each battery is actually charging.

Sorry, I just woke up when I made that post, sorry if I came off a bit harsh.

I tried googling those batteries and could not find any information about them. As far as amp ratings, they are unknown. You may be fine with them, but I would not recommend them. You really need high drain batterys to be safe. I would recommend 20 amps.

Iraq may have a vaping ban. But, I doubt they have a battery ban, so you could import any 18650 you want into the country. I just checked and Illumn.com does in fact ship to Iraq.

ok well after much researching trying to find these 28F batteries by samsung i was getting nowhere! until. i found this thread on the laserPointerForums with the title: Domestic Korean batteries (Samsung 26/28F) 18650. Bloody hell. so is the 28F the same as the 26F? Now we're getting somewhere. if you search for 26F theres lots of info. one of which says this is an ICR battery (duh!) and thats its a 5A battery. Theres a whole review thread on Fasttech also where some folk say to use it for whatever and many warning not to use it for mech mods.

this, of course, is all under the assumption that the 28f is indeed the same as the 26f. but why would samsung not release info on the 28f?

So i figured i'd then try to figure out the one thats blue, the LC one i bought. hardly any info at all. heres the LC batts on amazon italy.

and to those who are constantly bashing me for not buying the good batts. i really have no way to do so. the four batteries that are original that I DO have, (2LG HG2, and the 2imrens) were brought to me when my brother visited from the US on his last trip.
Shipping batteries is not allowed ...and no i cant find Illumn.com having a reseller in crap-raq.
