I get mine on eBay and other battery specialty stores. Batteries are not just for vaping, so theres no need to buy them from vape vendors.

Do you recommend the Protected or non protected if i will be pairing with the vamo?
You should not be using 'Protected' batteries in the Vamo or any protected vaping device.
As for batteries, I use 3400mAh Panasonic, I get between 3-4 days of vape time with them.

I use 3400mAh Panasonic in my Vamo and Evic and they work terrific!!!!!!!!!!! Tired of constantly charging all the time and these will last me several days......have one in my Vamo and one in the Evic
They really are the best, I got a few for some friends as they were getting tired of charging every day or so with their normal 18650s
One friend doen't vape so hard and one battery lasted him 5-6 days without a charge, he was very happy
They are great......I am a heavy vaper......use both mods at once as my tanks can't keep up with me lol
But the batts last me a good 3 days where 18650 I had to charge them 3 times a day
