Batteries

Hey guys!
I'm looking for the safest and most efficient batteries for mech mods.
I'm purchasing an iTaste V2 box mod (which doesn't require a battery), as well as an Atomic rba. Then next on the list is a very good Mech.
Only thing I'm unsure of is what batteries I should get? And what Mechs would you recommend?

ideally you want to go for Sony VTC4 or Sony VTC5.. you wont have any problems with these, just make sure the ones you buy are authentic.

in regards to mech this list could go on and on and you could spend hundreds on mech mods..

some mech recommendations to start with would be

Nemesis & Launcher V2 are my go to mods can't go wrong with these imo.

Sony VTC5 gets my vote. Don't forget a good charger as well, I use the Efest LUC and have not one complaint. Also, don't for get your multi-meter and if no meter at least a ohm meater.

As for batteries, here's another vote for the Sony VTC% or Samsung 25R in 18650 size. The VTC5's seem to be out of stock lately at a lot of places. I would go for a VTC4 if I could not find the other two. These batteries are great in all mods.

My two favorite mechs are my Stingray and my Gnome clone. Both come with magnetic switches.

The stingray requires some adjustment of the switch but it is otherwise noob friendly. The Gnome's recessed switch is amazing but only comes in one size with no option for a kick.

The Gnome at fasttech is top shelf for less than $20. If you decide on a stingray, you may want to spend more on an hcigar or ehpro to avoid a wobbly switch.

I also recommend stainless steel for your first mech as it more durable and requires less maintenance.
