Okay here is a question....for the DSE901 they say to charge the original batteries 8-12 hours. My question is this. I will be using the passthrough while at home for the most part. If I have batteries fully charged, how long do they stay like that? If they are fully charged and I don't use them that day and just have them sitting around and use them the next day when I go out, will that be okay? What about when they say they last 4 hours does that mean 4 hours of vaping or withing 4 hours they are dead no matter what you do?

On my 901 I was getting maybe 3 hours vaping tops, but I use it a lot. The USB pass-through is a godsend if you spend many hours near a source... and those portable usb power supplies are nice too. I have one that I used to use on my Asus EEE PC when traveling. It's got a new good use now :)

I got the pass through ordered today so I'm hoping it makes it here when my 901 does so that I can start right away while my batteries are charging. :D Otherwise I'll have to wait 12 hours.

You don't really have to wait 12 hours. When you get it put a battery on the charger and one on the atomizer and start using it. There will most likely be enough charge so you can at least try it. I've never got a new battery that was completely discharged when I got it. It's not going to hurt anything using a partially charged battery. You may not get the normal amount of vapor but you can at least try it.

MAYBE THIS WILL HELP....
Figure 1 illustrates the capacity loss as a function of these two parameters.
