battery and chargers

Can I charge a ultrafire battery in a trustfire charger as long as the numbers are the same? I assume yes but want to be sure. Thanks!

It is my understanding that the charger brand won't matter if it automatically senses battery voltage and type and you're using protected batteries. The ones I've seen work for multiple battery types, so my best guess would be yes.
