Battery blinks three times....help!

I have one tank that when I attach it to any of my Halo batteries, the battery blinks three times and doesn't seem to work.

The batteries work just fine with all the other tanks though.

Does this mean that particular tank is toast?

I have two yellow tanks, one was ordered 11/7/13, and the other 12/2/13.

The other yellow tank I had is the one that the top part of the post ended up coming off when I unscrewed my coil.

Guess I won't be ordering anymore yellow tanks since they apparently don't like me!

Oh well, I normally order Red, purple, and green.

Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.

It's because the yellow tanks have low self esteem and don't like being the same color as used cigarette filters and stained teeth. Try green, blue, or clear tanks.

Seriously though, have you swapped in a fresh coil/wick into said defective tank?

Something is causing a short, and the coils are the usual culprit.

Give it a shot, and we can troubleshoot from there.

I agree with the above statement. I would try a fresh coil in that tank and see if it works. I know when I used my triton batteries or even my vision spinners and it did that it was either too low of an ohm or there was a short somewhere that I missed. Go from there and see how it goes.

Take the yellow tank without a coil on it, on a good battery. 3 blinks? If so, the tank has an internal short. You could verify it with a multimeter.

And if so, that is a manu defect, and Halo should replace it.
