Although I am used to using mech mods and small batteries, I have not done so for many years.

I guess the principles of safety have not changed, and as far as I can tell, the rules of good brand and supplier of batteries remain unchanged.

I guess what has changed a lot is the charger technology.

So, if I am looking for a 4 gang charger that I can use at home or in the car.... One that will charge my batteries, but will also allow me to test the battery, what do I buy these days?

Once again, a kind of a truncated journey.

When I got back into vaping, I had tried a couple of mall mods with internal batteries, so no charger needed.

Then I got my Elitar, and it does not recommend using the USB port to charge, only to update firmware. So I got a little Xtar usb thing that sits in the car. It was, and still is a brilliant little charger and does what I need...... Now.

But I am going back to a mech mod, and so I don't just want to charge the batteries, I want to be able to check the condition of them.

I am happy with the unit I have bought, as long as it does what it says on the advert

I guess my question was more based around the functionality that is available, rather than technical question....

But this gives capacity, resistance, charge current and also includes discharge testing and low voltage start...
