Hello.

Due to the nature of the batteries and your time, once the light blinks to re-charge, it should be charged again to full. If you have three, I would assume that while one is charging, the other two are charged and ready to go. Once in a while, you could probably get away with it, but doing the half charge constantly will train your batt to do just that and shortens the life span over all significally.
:)

ps. I have only the older joytech egos and they are still going strong. It's been about 3yrs give or take a few months. Never owned an ego wanna be.

Shallow charges are best for these I'm afraid.

Read: HERE. And HERE.
Perform shallow discharges. Instead of discharging to 0% all the time, lithium-ion batteries do best when you discharge them for a little bit, then charge them for a little bit. The table at the right, from Battery University, shows that discharges to 50% are better for your battery's long-term life than, say, small discharges to 90% or large discharges to 0% (since the 50% discharges provide the best number of cycles-to-usage ratio).

Cheers

AGREED!!! These batteries develop "memory" it's best to let them go to 0. Then FULLY CHARGE THEM. Especially if you have 2 or 3 in rotation.... Let them die completely.
Where have you been? 1990 is looking for you.
"Memory" = Ni-Cd batteries.

Please do some read up in the link I've posed.

Cheers
