Battery extender tube

I am converting my Stealth to a TS. All I need is a top tube and I have the battery extension. Question is is the batt ext. tube just three top tubes put together or is the top tube different somehow? Seems like it's probably the same, I just wanna make sure.

The battery extension tube is the same exactly as the top tube if that is what you need to know.

Yep, thanks, that's the confirmation I was lookin for.

Just a warning. I bought some nickel plated extension tubes(to use dual 18650's) and some of them using them separately wouldn't thread onto the top of my SSGGTS. If you buy stainless steel ones you have nothing to worry about.

Or if you have an old telescope like mine. Although I doubt many people are parting out SSGGTS below number 300
