would this be a good battery to use for mod GB-18650 Rechargeable Battery, 3000mAh, 3.7V, 20 Amp?

I have never heard or seen that battery before, and for that reason I would have to say no. Unless it's specs are known they are unknown.
I would not even consider using a cell that had not been tested by Mooch. Period.

ty I was on the same page but hoping do to price lol. I did keep looking and found Samsung INR18650-25R HIGH DRAIN 2500mah RECHARGEABLE BATTERY I think looks good? lol so leaning that way

The 25R is a great 20 amp CDR battery. But it's all about the intended application, as in how many amps you are intending to draw from it.
What mod are you going to use it on?

ty, its the 18650 Mod Variable Voltage E-Cig with X9 Changeable Bottom Heating Coil Atomizer. I laso noticed it doesn't say the amps of the battery but it is green wrap same as mooch tested?

I found that it is 22A

The 25R can have a either a green or a blue wrapper. "18650 Mod Variable Voltage E-Cig" doesn't help identify your mod.

that's basically all it says, it seems pretty generic. the volts are 3.6 - 3.8 - and 4.2.
the atomizer is 2.4Ohm. it was cheap from china
