With 3000 mAh hr they will go alot longer than the Sony at 2100..
BTW, I've been using the red IMREN 38A
2600 mAh batts for over 3 mos now in two 150w IPV3's and two 100w ipv4's ..they are great!
Thx for posting this link for I may order the newer 40A myself...2 for $30 isn't a bad deal either...[emoji12]

No sarcasm here pal. My view on batteries just happens to be different from yours and I know what works for me. Deal with it

There are no 18650 batteries made that are over 30A CDR. Sony VTC4's are 30A CDR.

If those batteries are really 3000mAh they are 15A Samsung 30q b or c bins that have been rewraped. 18650 Samsung 3000mAh INR18650-30Q High Discharge Flat Top

The 2600mAh batteries are probably Samsung 25r b or c bin rewraps and are 20A batteries. 18650 Samsung INR18650-25R R2 2500mAh (BLUE) High Discharge FLAT Top

VTC4/5 for any box, but if you want to save a little Samsung 25R's
In a series regulated box you hit 20A at 124W if you want to go above that the 30A VTC 4 is good for 192W. But only if you want to replace the batteries about every three months as you will wear them out rather quickly at that discharge rate.

If you use the 30% headroom rule the VTC4 is good for 130W and the 25R is good for 96W in pairs.

So VTC 4 our 5 is fine in mech box mods why I have not tried mechs yet is I don't know batteries that well yet

Even with mechs if you just keep a ohm calculator handy to double check to make sure you're good and just stick to quality brand names that people recommend to make sure you're safe.

Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

They're reputable and cheap as fuu--

But it comes down to what you're looking to continuously go at as well. VTC4's have the AMPs to super safe vape 150W in a series... Not to mention its a regulated box so you're good. The Snow Wolf isn't a true 200W since 150 above it just pulses. Personally for my boxes I go VTC5 because they have a good continuous and a safe maximum discharge, with the added bonus they have a higher mAH so the more battery life the better.
