Battery for the Lava Tube found

Alot of folks have been showing concern as far as getting another flat top battery that will work in the Lava Tube. I spent most of the day looking around. I ordered the same battery with the exception of a nipple tip from Provape. I watched a few youtube video's and it appears it will fit.

As always I found one at AV IMR18650 3.7v Li-Mn Battery - Avid Vaper that appears to be exactly the same as the AW that comes with the Lava Tube with the exception of it being 1500Mah vs 1600Mah after I bought the one from Provape lol. Please let me know if I am wrong, I don't want to send anyone on a wild goose chase.

Just so you know, the AW IMR high drains with the nipple do work. I'm not sure why they say to use flat tops. The AW's with nipple close all the way and work just fine. My 18650's came from provape as well.

Thanks, I thought that was the case, but the batteries from Avid vapor are cheaper, but they aren't the AW's.

Can you list specific batteries you have found that work?

they are the 1600mah. aw imr 18650s. the red ones that provape sells for the provari. you can get them from one place for like 9 bucks. can't remember where though

RTDvapor also has the nipple tip AW IMRS... Also the orange IMR 18650s that Electronicstixs sell fit and work.... Not sure the brand from Nic Stixs they are labeled for their company...

That's where my buddy got his. They work completely fine.
